In the exact opposite way that I never get tired of looking at Alice Goodwin . . . I notice that whenever Kansas City talks about violent crime, Plaza Rioting or even our murder rate the discussion inevitably turns to parenting.
In fact, during the Plaza Rioting And Curfew Hot Mess I recall Mayor Sly mentioning a few words about the responsibility of parents and the importance of responsible parenting in civic matters. Whatever he said, I was inspired.
So . . .
NOW IT'S TIME FOR KANSAS CITY TO OFFER MAYOR SLY SOME ADVICE ON PARENTING HIS ADULT SON WHO SEEMS TO BE CAUGHT IN YET ANOTHER ALLEGED HOT MESS!!!
Sure, the dude is an adult but there are plenty of OTHER young adults facing challenges and maybe getting into a bit of trouble who might also benefit from the intervention of a parent.
Who knows?
We could stumble upon some kind of next level Dr. Spock (the shrink, not the Vulcan) kind of wisdom that could benefit all of Kansas City.

It seems to me that if politicos are quick to tell residents that all of the City's problems can be solved by better parenting, than that same sentiment should apply in this circumstance as well.

I am thinking intervention. This young man obviously has an alcohol/drug problem, as well as anger management issues. Sounds like rehab might be the next step. WTF I live in my mom's basement too, with my wife, looking after my folks, doesn't make one all bad.
