It's more than a nice gesture from a very nice man, it's the Kansas City media referee taking time out to spread the word about a missing person case.

BLIND MAN WITH DEMENTIA MISSING
Richard Solis, who is legally blind and suffers from a seizure disorder and dementia, has been missing since Saturday evening (8/27).
He reportedly went for a walk in the Northeast area of Kansas City around 8 p.m. and never returned home. He requires multiple medications to stay alive.
Mr. Solis is 63-years-old, 5’, 8” and about 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a KC Royals ball cap, a dark shirt and jeans in the area of 18th Street and Cambridge in KCMO.
The family is asking anyone with information about Mr. Solis to contact the Tips Hotline at (816) 474-8477 (TIPS).

FAMILY ORGANIZING SEARCH EFFORT TONIGHT
The family of Richard Solis is organizing a search effort tonight starting at 5 p.m. leaving from his home at 1815 Cambridge in Kansas City, Missouri.
The public is invited to join in the search for Mr. Solis, who has lived in the area for 40 years.
“We’re hoping for a good turnout this evening, so we can canvass a larger area and get Richie’s face in front of as many people as possible and bring him home,” said Solis’s nephew, Paul Moore, Jr. of Kansas City.
