AND NEW WE HAVE A KICK-ASS 1ST PERSON REPORT FROM THE P&L DISTRICT THAT CALLS OUT THEIR TACTICS!!!

"I went to Power and White (Light) this weekend, and I noticed that they are now charging $10 bucks just to get into the live area. That's all good, partially understandable seeing that a lot of folks will come down and just stand in the open area without going into any of the bars, but I noticed that they ONLY accept debit/credit cards to get in. While standing in line for about 10 minutes, I saw inordinate amount of folks turned away (majority African-American) because they didn't have a debit or credit card. 

Shit seems like class discrimination to me. I mean, this policy is clearly designed to work against the poor, who also pay/paid taxes to have the damn thing built. I asked the guy taking the cards why the new policy was implemented, he smiled and said "crowd control" I told him thanks, but no thanks, and me and my group of friends left. I couldn't take part in that."

We're sure to have more on this but an accurate depiction of the P&L District fail is certainly worth noting . . . With more places inside the District closing up shop it seems like they're getting desperate and, of course, people of color and the poor are the first to be subjected to a crackdown.
