Harry Wiggins was a beloved local politico . . . The award in his honor is given to recognize a someone whose efforts reflect the commitment that Senator Harry Wiggins had for improving the lives of the citizens of Jackson County.
After holding Democrats together in the Missouri House this session, developing the Kansas City caucus and doing even more work behind the scenes . . . MO state Rep. Mike Talboy certainly deserves the honor.
So, tell me ... what did he accomplish?

ReplyDeleteGood pick. Talboy has been a great voice against the awful policies the republicans have been pushing. Our area is lucky to have him, Garza-Ruiz, Crystal Williams, Jean Peters Baker, Jason Holsman, Kander and John Rizzo in the pipeline for the future.
ReplyDeleteWith the Governor sounding more and more like a Republican it is nice that Talboy is not afraid to stand up for Democratic principles and call out the Republicans.
