Walking Downtown Remains Dangerous

The Star: A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle about 11 p.m. on the ramp between Broadway and southbound Interstate 35, on the southwest corner of the downtown Loop, Kansas City police said.

  1. Friday and Saturday nights they recklessly jump the gun turning right on red, or turning left, at 12th Street intersections between Broadway and Main. I live downtown....won't walk to Cosentino's anymore at those times.

  5. I took it as dangerous to walk on an on ramp at 11! And really isnt that mid town? I run downtown everyday and no issue ever
