TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! KANSAS CITY CALL REPORTER DEBUNKS KMBZ ALLEGATIONS THAT THEY WERE UNJUSTLY KICKED OUT OF A BILL COSBY INTERVIEW!!!

Just got of the phone with Kansas City Call reporter Eric Wesson who was generous enough to offer a point-by-point rebuttal to the accusations of KMBZ reporters who CLAIM they were kicked out of an interview with Bill Cosby.
Let's look at the allegations one-by-one since since they're being put on blast in other media outlets without much regard for the other side of the story . . .
Here's what KMBZ claims:
"Cosby was in the room at the time and said there was no reason for anyone to be removed, but Wesson insisted there would be no interview with KMBZ. After Bell left, Cosby did the interview with Fox4KC and went on with the program."
Mr. Wesson says that is incorrect. However, Eric Wesson stipulates that both The Star and WDAF got back with him as far as arranging an interview . . . "The folks from KMBZ just showed up and they didn't pull anyone aside and tell us what they were doing. This was a closed session and all press had to be cleared beforehand."
IN OTHER WORDS, IT LOOKS LIKE KMBZ CRASHED THE INTERVIEW AND NOW THEY'RE POUTING ABOUT IT!!!
Another charge:
"An eyewitness heard Cosby ask Wesson, "why did you kick that guy out?" The eyewitness says Wesson answered, "he was KMBZ." KMBZ reporter Jeff Bell says the gist of the remark by Wesson was "because of who you (KMBZ) are." No further explanation was given."
Eric Wesson: "I never said that. Not once did I use that kind of terse comment and anyone who says that I did is lying."
The background here is that Mr. Cosby's associates run a very tight ship. What local news doesn't report, again, is that this was a closed meeting and not open to all the press . . . In fact, all photos taken during this meeting had to be cleared personally by Mr. Cosby's wife Camile.
The most important response from Mr. Wesson:
"What is unfortuante is that this was a very positive event and the students involved had a great time and were inspired. We accomplished a very good thing here today and brought forth a positive message to our youth.
Meanwhile, these reporters simply want to make themselves the spotlight of Mr. Cosby's appearance with petty complaints instead of focusing attention on the service provided to students."
