What a weird day.
Mayor Funky's last legislative session featured an invocation from a Hare Krishna . . . Which is kinda cool and demonstrates Kansas City's inclusiveness.
And then . . .
A FEW TKC TIPSTERS REPORT OUTGOING COUNCIL LADY SHARON SANDERS BROOKS CRYING!!!
That kinda makes me sad because I don't like thinking of politicos as real people with feelings . . . Also, her competition and critics were simply merciless when the campaign was in full gear.
Nevertheless, every time I talked to Sharon she was nice . . . I only talked to her twice . . . But who cares?
Anyhoo, just because I'm posting info about Former Council Lady Brooks crying . . . That doesn't mean I'm mocking . . . I simply want to focus on the sessy times when she brought some underwear into Council Chambers in order to make a point.
I believe Sharon Sanders Brooks will bounce back and this current political epoch in Kansas City demonstrates that a lot of weird things can happen in the course of one term.
Like all the members of the City Council, Sharon Sanders Brooks is crying over the uncertainty of living without the $70,000.00 annual City Council paycheck and the several thousand $ in perks.
