Missouri House Budget Chair Ryan Silvey (R) has an impressive resume for such a young Rep. and he also doesn't seem to mind working across the aisle when it comes to moves that benefit Kansas City Proper . . . According to AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS . . . Here's what's happening to the young politico:

In 2011, Silvey decided to run for the 17th district in the Missouri Senate. It is an open seat because LuAnn Ridgeway is unable to run for re-election due to term limits. Silvey has received endorsments from LuAnn Ridgeway, Rob Schaaf, five other current and former Republican representatives, and two Clay County officials.
So the map may still leave him fucked over.

DeleteBy taking the 10th up north they are trying to make sure that there is never another liberal in the Missouri State Senate. The Republicans are trying to water down most liberal senate district in the state.

ReplyDeleteJolie cannot run again so what does it matter if Silvey is in her district? It would be a new, more conservative district with an infusion of White bigots who moved North out of fear and ignorance.

If the battle over the 10th Senate Seat moves north, guess what low-turnout voting bloc suddenly becomes very unimportant Tony?
