A rather loving tribute from Svoboda to Mayor Funky's Last Legislative session features a small cadre of supporters and artsy folks showing the defeated Mayor a bit of love . . . The Glass Etcher dude and the couple who raised a ruckus over stolen City Hall chickens claim that Mayor Funky was a man of the people despite the fact that the vast majority of the people who voted didn't want him anywhere near the Mayor's office again which parted with a tradition lasting more than 75 year for incumbent Mayors.

Good riddance.
ReplyDeleteGo away.
Ass-wipe.
Now the Thieves can take over again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link, Tony...

Completely Amateur. Glad that didn't have MY name on it. Svoboda.... you're a lightweight. And Tee is being too petty for putting that pile of shit on his blog.
ReplyDeleteLosers. Was this a Belton Missouri Production or what?
Newsflash Radioman. Your drivel always sucks and your family should be concerned. NOBODY takes you seriously.
ReplyDeleteWatch from 4:55. He hugs his family, then tries to hug his daughter's fiance. The brother says no thanks!
ReplyDeleteHey 11:50. The only one who's important to not take me seriously is ME. I don't. So relax.
ReplyDeleteArtwork? I've seen better artwork created by elephants with brushes in their trunks.
ReplyDeleteTwo kisses for Funk and Glo. Prince William and Kate Middleton obviously copied them.
The Glass Etcher dude looks like he's missing some teeth. Why do Funk supporters seem to have poor personal hygiene?

ReplyDeleteYou're an idiot. Probably a Yuppie, too.
10:03, no yuppie, no Volvo, just someone who thinks a toothbrush is a necessary item.
ReplyDeleteLighten up Byron. It was a joke. Kind of like Funk.
ReplyDeleteSigned, a Brookside Yuppie
Tony,
ReplyDeleteI was there, certainly - your powers of perception are not to be underestimated.
You might be surprised to know that the reason I was there had far less to do with the Funk and more to do with the new power that is rising on the Plaza.
Anyway, 7144 is the number of signatures you (or I or anybody) needs to gather, to put an new initiative on the ballot.
I was thinking of changing the City charter - to wit, "Kansas City cannot pass a new tax or bond issue without at least 30% of registered voters participating." That would eliminate the costly and indecent process currently favored, which is to bury such initiatives on ballots when nobody is paying any attention.
You like that idea? It would mean that things like Power and Light would be voted on during presidential election cycles.
Also, you should have seen the food up on the 29th floor!!! You might think being an internet troll pays poorly, but I am here to tell you that being a bestselling physics author pays even less than that. I gotta take every chance I get to reduce my food costs. Glass etcher guy walked outta that place with 10 lbs. of food under his arm. I ate the last cookies just this morning.
Helk
Nice video, we appreciate being able to see a glimpse of the legislature session. Perhaps if more people participated in local politics we would have a better city. At least the creatives are picking up some of the slack and maybe Camera Krewe Kansas City will continue to educate the masses during the Sly James administration. JML
ReplyDeleteThe reason why KCMO government sucks is because you people think this was a good video and you don't know any better.
ReplyDeleteMy kid did better production values when he and his friends did a SNL video spoof for an 8th grade spring project back in about 1989!
Sorry, you're never wrong telling me to lighten up.
ReplyDeleteA great video - we need more footage like this showing the public what happens inside the political chambers, keep up the good work artists and svoboda!
ReplyDeleteOl Funk got stuck with Granny Kays "Bubble" . . or what was left of it after it popped.
ReplyDeleteThat Bitch Gloria had the nerve to say "we survived" How can anyone be that stupid? They are always the victims. Oh wow is me Funky.
ReplyDeleteThat's the spirit, Byron! Now onward and upward.
ReplyDeleteYou'll be sorry!
