He's one of Kansas City's most celebrated athletes with a World Series win and yet another well-deserved honor:
Frank White Honored with Jackie Robinson Legacy Award
While I'm pretty sure the Royals current win streak is going to hold up . . . It is nice to see local baseball history celebrating a long series of victories.
Frank White is way cool.
ReplyDeleteHe talk too white for my liking.
ReplyDeleteFrank White is Kansas City without the heavy filter of media and self appointed authority. It is a miracle that he has made it through the static without becoming corrupted or dismissed. Somebody in the Royals media needs credit for seeing the beauty of Frank and actually the entire broadcast team for the Royals. Win or lose, they are VERY good entertainment for a neglected demographic here in Kansas City. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of him....
ReplyDeleteWow. I'm amazed that Tony didn't say something nasty about Frank White. He didn't even bad mouth the NLB Museum.
ReplyDeleteThe NLB Museum is one of the finest things about KCMO. It's good to see it back on track.
