Tracy Ward Earned More Votes For Less Money Than Anybody Else And Ran The Most Cost-Efficient Campaign In This Kansas City Election Cycle!!!

Here's why so many of the several thousand Tracy Ward supporters should hold their head high . . .

She didn't take any money from Kansas City special interests . . . Her campaign was completely grassroots.

With a limited war chest she earned MORE VOTES THAN ANYBODY FOR THE MONEY!!! Think about this: Democracy was mostly for sale in Kansas City but Tracy Ward earned votes without paying out any cash to the forces that normally control KC politics.

Best of all . . . Tracy is in a great position now as a denizen of the local political scene. Tracy Ward speaks with a great deal of moral authority from a grassroots perspective and has A LOT of people who believe in what she stands for . . . That's something that so many Kansas City politicos, insiders and consultants will never be able to buy.

We're still waiting to see Tracy's next move but her election night performance with very little cash is anything but a disappointment. In fact . . . For insiders looking at new voting blocs and trends, most people note that her campaign was impressive.

  1. SHE LOST YOU STUPID FOOL!!! Tony get over it. She was LAME! Looks like the breast cancer "pink" vote stayed home.

  2. Ok, Tony, the day after the election, I'll give you that. You gotta recap, cool. But please for fu**s sake, how about we don't dwell on the losers and talk about how Tracy is so "awesome" for the next month? Let her go back to hating government and preaching about FEMA camps. For now the politics are done for ol'Tracy, Thank god.

  3. Tracy Ward is a fraud. She believes in nothing she stood for. If she wants to be taken seriously, perhaps maybe she should run a serious campaign and not have baby rash pink hair.

  4. I guess not everyone in this town is into Bukkake parties like Ward is...

  5. Nice spin Tony. SHE LOST. So any money spent was wasted, and therefore not "efficient" at campaigning at all. You can just as easily lose sitting in mom's basement and not lifting a finger. That's free.

  6. hahaha...Tracy is a joke. Please show us your titties now!

  7. she'd probably gain a hell of a lot more votes if she took some public speaking classes. it's painful to listen to her.

  10. Grassroots campaign?

    More like pink roots.

  11. One question remains unanswered.

What IS the color of the carpet?

  12. Time to change colors and move on. She's cute enough without needing quite that much artificial attention.

Nice beautyshot. You look best with a smile, so be happy.

  13. Goodbye Tracy, your 15 minutes of fame is over.

  14. Cheapest loss of the night. Way to go. Now go back to holding a sign on a street corner like a child and growing weed in your basement.

  15. So does T get paid now, even though it was a loss? Or was it dependant on a win?

  16. What's really funny is that she made an otherwise seriously unopposed candidate, Mr. Jolly, spend a SHITPILE of money that now won't be available for other purposes. Ha ha ha!

  17. I'm kinda curious about the number of "special interest" offers of money that Ward rejected.

My guess is that she didn't spend any money because nobody gave her any.

I am also reminded of the 2002 State Auditor's race. Incumbent Claire McCaskill's opponent was a convicted felon whom the Republican Party disavowed. He spent something like $500 on a statewide race, and like Ward, got 40 percent of the vote.

    Wow. What an "efficient" campaign.

  18. Tracy didn't just lose, she got her ass kicked---Scott Taylor defeated Tracy Ward by a margin of 61 percent to 39 percent.

Tracy could very well be a great city council member. But she's got to lay off the pink hair dye. I think it turned off a lot of voters, especially the older "upper crust" patrons of her district, mostly those who live between State Line and Holmes south of Red Bridge/119th Street, and those who live out by Longview Lake.

  19. I'm sorry, I just can't take a person with pink hair seriously. Especially as an elected official.

  20. 4:16: You must be more accepting of the pink hair community. You son may grow up to marry someone with pink hair, and then there's a good chance your grandchildren will have pink hair, too.

  21. Tracy has learned a lesson, and will emerge like a Phoenix from the ashes. What did not kill her will make her stronger.

  22. Second place. First loser.

Buh-bye, pinky. And while you're at it, mix in a salad or two.

  23. Tracy Ward STAYS losing

  24. I was sad to see Tracy lost. Judging by the primary numbers I can't say I didn't see it as the likely outcome. That said, she worked so hard and in a lot of ways seemingly did so very well, that I didn't see Scott winning by so much. I spoke with him and couldn't get a straight answer out of him after at least 10 minutes of patience as I tried to give him a fair chance for my opinion. It seemed to me that if that was the norm, voters might see that, but I forgot most people don't show up to those forums and really listen and participate. Not sure how I feel about the future.
