Got this e-mail from an AWESOME TKC TIPSTER at today's pro-e-tax presser . . .
Tony -- Do you notice the difference between the two campaigns?
The E-Tax Supporters have 83 endorsing organizations and news conferences with key support groups. Thursday several faith based groups are holding an event to endorse renewal.
Opponents---NOTHING, but Woody Cozad running around talking.
I thought that was a MENSA meeting for a moment.
ReplyDeleteLook who's lining up for their cut of the pie.
ReplyDeleteOh pls. These same "pastors" supported me when they thought I was gonna control the trough. I guess they thought their next best choice was to go with the house negro!
ReplyDeleteWoody's not adding much to the effort. I saw him talk, and I'm not sure he's convinced himself. Of course, he neither lives nor works in KC.
ReplyDeleteAnd Woody finally had to admit at the Star debate he is getting paid to be their spokesperson. I love those Republicans---they don't do nothing for nobody unless money is involved.
ReplyDelete6:23... And Pat Gray is donating his time???
ReplyDeleteah, but now, something NEW has been added. Check the KMBC page. Mahoney has an OUTSTANDING clip from Coffran, basically telling a questioner who lives out of the city but pays the confiscation, tough, get another job.
ReplyDeleteAh, another validation for my decision to move beyond the grubby mitts of the Revenue Department and take a job in Kansas.
Thanks for the free advice, Dan.
That clip is old as shit. Sly wrote it off today in the press conference. You guys suck.
ReplyDeleteLook at that collection of idiots .
ReplyDeleteLooks like something from Americas' Most Wanted. You know they is all sayin' - "Where's the white women at?"
ReplyDeletemo ma brothas gonna die!
ReplyDeleteWoody is a lobbyist. He plays both sides given the election cycle. He's admitted he is paid "not much"??. BS. How much is that until the next issue. Political consultants need to get real jobs.
ReplyDeleteVote NO to the eTax. Make em come back with a more reasonable HALF CENT for passage.
ReplyDeleteAnd use the opportunity to cut out the dead wood in city government. excess firemen and cops and bureaucrats who spend too much office time in HERE instead of working for the taxpayers.
Also, I read where the proponents also have a lot more money to work with.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet, the opponents will probably win.
Radioman, you're an idiot. If the e-tax goes away this place is going to be an effing ghost town.
ReplyDeleteMahlon Davis is also a spokesperson, against the E-Taxs he works with Woody, and is from the urban core so that has to count for something. Vote no on the E-Tax it must go.
ReplyDeleteVote No E-Tax. Let's scale back big and financially irresponsible government.
ReplyDeleteHand out city...... please get in line and no pushing.
ReplyDeleteObama Money.
ReplyDeleteI hope Sly had the good sense to NOT leave his wallet in his back pocket and then let this crowd get behind him. No wonder he has serious police protection!
ReplyDeleteCofran has stated don't work here more than once. I wonder how much of his pension comes from the e-tax? Since that's where that money comes from as well..
ReplyDeleteWoody, Mahlon & Pink fish Ward are having a pow wow on crushing the E-tax. Look at all the money they are spending having public meetings with free food and drinks. Tell us W.M&P who's giving you guys the big bucks?
