Almost as sad as old Tommy Skerrit doing those "why would you go anywhere but KU Med" spots.
ReplyDeletecouldn't have picked his 'dances with wolves' SUCCESS, could you t?
ReplyDeleteCostner has made many great movies.
ReplyDeleteThe usual lachrymose take on everything from TKC.
Costner's association with water, should be remembered NOT in the cntext of a regretable movie, but here---

in his successful efforts to clean up oil spills.
Hell Chuck, I'm so naive & unhip that I actually enjoy all of Costner's movies. Waterworld happens to be my wife's favorite of his, though I like The Postman.
ReplyDeletetypical no budget and no thought from the new marketing guy.
ReplyDeleteThe guy who runs the museum is a first class pervert. I have seen him taking pictures of women with a telephoto lens at Rock Fest and other events at Liberty Memorial. He is an old guy.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I didn't think it was THAT bad.
ReplyDeleteDennis Hopper is in it for chrissakes.
"True Romance" the scene with Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walkin in the trailer.
Best ever...
"I ah, I think I'll take that Chesterfield."
07:41 so the guy is an old poonhound, he can still run a world class museum
ReplyDeleteEveryone who sees it, says the WWI museum is great.
ReplyDeleteWW1 museum is great. Costner's made some good movies.
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with that?
Poon, the other white meat.
ReplyDeleteTony's panties are in a twist because Mexico isn't represented in the museum.
ReplyDeleteOf course, if Tony knew anything about history, he'd understand that Mexico was NOT one of the Entente Powers during World War I. For that matter, they weren't part of the Central Powers, either (although Germany did try to entice Mexico to declare war on the U.S.).
The WWI Museum was a very pleasant surprise on a recent trip to Kansas City. I would strongly recommend a few hours there to anyone who has any interest in history.
