what the fuck is Kansas City University?
ReplyDeleteIrrelevant, TKC keeps on failing
The bigger question is this: Karen Pletz supposedly embezzled millions, but she always looked like an worn-out old hooker.
ReplyDeleteSHOCKING!!!
ReplyDelete"Behind every great fortune lies a great crime"
She must have thought she was male and could get a way with it. What's a little embezzlement amongst friends?
She was Chair of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. Bunch of posers.
ReplyDeleteSometimes graft works... sometimes, not so much.
ReplyDeleteA still unanswered question in this whole mess is why did the Board of the University not detect this sooner? I'll betcha some of those board members where looking the other way as this went on. It would be wise if the feds look into the contracts that were awarded during her leadership to see if any of the board members' companies were recipeints of fat contracts. The board is composed of many of the city's elites. FBI, please be more thorough in your investigations of corruption!!
ReplyDeleteGreat point 12:05!! That whole Board was a bunch of insiders lining each others pockets, scratching each other's backs and giving each other civic awards! Disgusting!
ReplyDeleteThat fucking cunt made many people, much richer than they were; however, it was at the expense her employer and the public in general. Again, fucking cunt!
ReplyDeleteWord to the wise..be VERY CAREFUL in some of your commentary here. She's been charged, not tried or anything else. Your charicterizations of her may be libelous, as she is not a "public figure".
ReplyDeleteJust sayin'.

Well, guess who'd going to be next year's "great, civic leader of a nonprofit healthcare organization"?
Answer: Frank Ellis, Bd. Chair of Swope. Frank Ellis was LITERALLY paid more than $1,000,000 last year alone. I kid you not.
Even MORE of the same. Ellis' business dealings need to be investigated by the IRS. Really. Maybe one of Tony's Awesome Tipsters can get busy?
She didn't spend ONE PENNY of that on me.
ReplyDeleteThe prior board consisted of lots of familiar names who are mostly known for looking out for themselves and each other as they fail from one six figure job to the next. And a fair number of folks on the board lived elsewhere around the country, including the person who was chairman and is now president of the school. They met only a couple times a year!
ReplyDeleteAnd who did they ask to come in and clean up the mess? Susan Stanton, the last CEO of Payless Cashways who ran that company into bankruptcy!
Some things never change.
And the feds should start looking at young Casey Pletz who was allegedly recently sellling mommy's rags (er desiner clothes) on e-bay. Go get the money, IRS!
ReplyDeleteHey, what can I say...she sucked my balls just fine. gave a great rim job. No complaints.
