While it may be futile to blame anyone for this snow blast, there is an important fact that THE MOST KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS want us to know that's currently going unreported in the mainstream media . . .

MAYOR FUNKY IS IN NASHVILLE RIGHT NOW AND DECLARED THE KANSAS CITY STATE OF EMERGENCY FROM OUT OF TOWN!!!

Luckily, competent people like City Manager Troy Schulte and Mayor Pro Tem Bill Skaggs are in charge but Kansas City's Mayor checked out awhile ago . . . I'm not sure that's just a metaphor.

The Mayor needs to be held accountable, TV weather newsies have predicted this snow storm since LAST WEEK and Mark Funkhouser didn't put his commitments here first. I can confirm that he was in town as late as Saturday afternoon when TV newscasts had switched to nothing but storm coverage previews.

THERE SIMPLY ISN'T ANY BUSINESS MORE IMPORTANT AS A KANSAS CITY CITY STATE OF EMERGENCY FOR WHICH THE MAYOR IS ABSENT!!!

TKC FUN FACT: The weather is gonna get worse in Nashville, Tennessee but right now it's 53 degrees where Mark Funkhouser is staying.

The Mayor declaring this emergency from out of town was supposed to be a political win but it simply highlights his legacy of FAIL.

Making his declaration out of town simply shows that this Mayor doesn't have the streets and the people of Kansas City as his first concern. This is the latest of many examples as to why he doesn't deserve to lead Kansas City. During this crisis, Kansas City's Mayor is out of town.
