Here's some 4th District At-Large Fact and perspective thanks to a KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTER:
"(John) Crawford (4th District At-Large Candidate) has hired Regional Growth Strategies to go negative against Jim. RGS specializes in negative campaigning.
Crawford's campaign saw Jim's overwhelming win and knows they have nowhere to go but to drive up Jim's negatives.
RGS is a nasty outfit, and they plan to say that Crawford is responsible for the Glover Plan - amazing. And they'll be making up other accusations and innuendo that Jm was never in his office (he was out dolng his job! Geez) and other things.
Everybody gets extremely outraged when they hear about this - even people that disagree with Jim. Dirty campaigning and outright lying against Jim isn't being well received, there is a heckuva lot of goodwill towards Jim out there.
And the general response we get from people is that this type of dirty campaigning is going to blowback on Crawford.
I'm really offended by their tactics."
Now, I wouldn't worry too much about RGS because, if they're the same people I'm thinking about . . . They didn't do much for Terrence Nash or Anne McGregor.
Also, John Crawford and his campaign are good people.
They say they don't want to run a negative race . . . But then again they said they weren't hiring campaign consultants like the RG outfit.
We'll see.

ReplyDeleteI thought the issue about the children had been explained enough. But obviously someone hasn't heard. Jim married the mother, but the children had fathers who had not given up parental rights. So when the mother died, the kids went back to their fathers - court order. Jim was a great step dad and is still involved in their lives.
ReplyDeleteJim is the real deal. He is a kind, caring person who walks the talk. He lives in midtown in an area that a lot of people would not consider safe. And he worked really hard on the midtown Home Depot and Costco plan because he wanted urban development and jobs in midtown.

Why doesn't Crawford want to talk about the issues? He's obsessed by taking credit for the Glover Plan. When he talks around town and in his campiagn direct mail he always tries to take credit for it.

Crawford is the dirty tricks King. Ask Annie Presley! He teamed up with Anne McGregor and made up fantastic lies about AP. He will do whatever it takes to try to beat Glover. It's such a shame. Aren't we trying to make KC a BETTER place???
