ReplyDelete10:13 You must not handle Fire Department hiring then. My neighbors son had a Degree in Fire Science with a minor in Criminology. Did I add he was a College athlete? Track to be exact. 4.0 GPA. Hispanic.

Took the test. Scored high. Was not hired and placed number 120 something on the list for hiring. Same year, non college student but son of Firefighter returns to KC from wherever he lived and like magic, he was hired within a few weeks of his return. Wonder how that works?
I'll tell you how. HR ignores the fact that they have a list of every firefighter and where they live. It is as simple as putting them in alpha order to see how many same names come up. Also, look at how many same addresses for same names. Cross check by address and see how many have the same address or apt number.
I saw the list once.
Someone ought to look at it.

ReplyDeleteKCMO south of the river is dying and instead of individuals stepping forward to contribute to the good of the entire city, there are more and more who practice identity politics.emphasize difference, and work to divide the shrinking pie.

These old insiders have screwed things up enough and have gotten way more than their "fair share" at the expense of the rest of us. Time to pack it up and please take people like Bachuus, Sanders Brooks, Al Brooks, Circo, Hunt, Genaro, and the rest of the grifters with you!
