IT'S FINALLY TIME TO TAKE DOWN THE BRIAN EUSTON MEMORIAL IN WESTPORT!!!

C'mon.

The case is over. There's no more mystery.

The Westport death was tragic and has still scared people away from the party place.

However . . . The KCPD solved the case and Prosecutors are charging MANSLAUGHTER NOT MURDER!!!

Witnesses and so many accounts report a very drunk dude getting into a fight and sadly dying during inebriated adventures. The martyr story fabricated on the Internets didn't hold up to scrutiny.

Still, I want to respect the feelings of family and friends but understand that those emotions are best expressed IN PRIVATE among loved ones.

With the investigation over and charges filed . . . The public part of this story is complete.

Now, the memorial just stands in Westport as a testament to the fact that Kansas City values some lives over others despite mitigating factors like public drunkenness and brawling.

The memorial has been covered in urine and vandalized.

MAYBE IT DOES SERVE A PURPOSE IN REMINDING PEOPLE THAT WESTPORT CAN BE DEADLY AS WELL AS FUN!!!

Sadly, that message is lost on most . . . And what remains is another monument to lost life that has all but faded into the background.
