I'd go, but they're not serving white meat.
ReplyDeleteBukkake and Da Boys
ReplyDeleteJoint ticket won't work, all they're asking for is a group ass kicking, but they're all pretty hard to take seriously anyways.
ReplyDeleteThey all belong on a neighborhood association so they can raise a bunch of hell by preaching about populist ideas of bringing people together, but not having the ability or competency to do anything. These people are perfect models for why Kansas City's neighborhoods are crap.
12/28/10 8:03 PM-Jack ass, they are not running on a joint ticket, they are coming out talking with the community, something that the older candidates are not doing, just because they are not trying to court the politicans you want to write trash about them. Each one of these candidates stand and have different views, they are smart enough to realize that difference is what makes a whole Kansas City, MO.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to the lucheon. I'm eager to hear what Tracy Ward has to say.
ReplyDeleteI like Brandon Ellington, he appears to be able to connect with folks on every level. I plan to be at the lucheon and from what I'm hearing they alot of folks that will be attending. These young folks are working the campaign trails unlike the other hopefuls. These is what the city needs candidates that relate to the community. Before you drop all your hate messages check them out for yourself. We are tired of doing elections based on status quo friendships , families & political ties.
ReplyDeleteHey Tracy Ward, Bukkake party this weekend?
ReplyDeleteNo,12/28/10 8:18 PM- its at your mothers trailer!
ReplyDelete12/28/10 8:03 PM- you are a complete ass hole.
ReplyDelete8:01 funny, I think Ward should forever be referred to as "Bukkake"
ReplyDelete12/28/10 8:26 PM-as stated earlier you are an ass hole all you ever write is "bukkake" how dumb. Hey your mother needs to put some air in her tires her trailer is leaning.
ReplyDeleteI am worried about my girl Ward. She keeps putting on those pounds. C'mon girl! Workout and lay off the twinkies.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a nice gathering.
ReplyDeleteSome new blood.
Diana Kennedy? really? No petitions filed, no serious candidacy, no grasp of municipal issues...
ReplyDeleteReally Tony?
Really?
Only Brandon and Ed Pace have their names on the ballot. The others need to get their shit together.
ReplyDeleteinstead of being negitive, come out to nieces and support the candidates tomorrow@12:00 noon on 64th and troost!!! ask question, communicate with friends and eat! Dont be square!!!
ReplyDeleteKim - you don't have to tell Ward to eat.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Chuck and Kim, we need new blood. It's good see candidates coming out among the voters.
ReplyDeleteI hear if this New Blood Team wins that Tracy has an idea for a new swearing in ceremony: first, she gets down on her knees then all the guys form a circle around her ...
ReplyDeleteSo stupid. Brandon, Mahlon, Ed and Tracy have talked to KC voters more than any city council candidates so far and more then there competition. That is the real story.
ReplyDeleteTracy looks like the faculty advisor to a student counsel election in that picture. The dude in the T-shirt looks particularly dumb and immature.
ReplyDeleteYou must be a sick man that has a major crush on Ward, get over it.
ReplyDeleteI rather go to a lunch with candidates that care enough to come out without their handlers. It is about time.
ReplyDeleteIt appears that if you have an event and all you have is the same old money takers that you guys are all happy.
ReplyDeleteBrandon Ellington is going to make Melba Curls have to campaign after all. Can't wait until the debates.
ReplyDeleteEllington needs to go it alone.
ReplyDeleteThey are not a team, they all are going at it alone, it just happen that they all were asked to come out and they agreed. The public requested to hear from them and since they are the most visible of the candidates why shouldn't they come and speak to the voters?
ReplyDelete2 thumbs up to Niece's for hosting this event.
ReplyDeleteThis should prove to be very interesting. It's a great idea, see what happens when you have young leaders they are already changing the course of this election, get out among the people, if you want to win. We are sick and tired of all the current elected city council. I'm going to talk with each one of them then I willl make a choice of rather I will support them or not. I know I will support Brandon Ellington without a doubt.
ReplyDelete"Just being honest, don't waste your time giving me any information. I just don't like Will Royster and will do anything to prevent him from being elected..."

Looks like the back cover of an interracial porn video. The before shot. Right before she ends up with a face full of Tapioca.
ReplyDeleteWill Royster go to bed.
ReplyDeleteKeep doing what you're doing what you're doing Brandon Ellington, we hear you loud and clear, We Have Do Better-www.electellington.com
ReplyDeleteI hear Mahlon Davis is going to wait a week are two before to file.
ReplyDeleteMahlon Davis is the best thing for the 5Th District (At Large). Time for circo and the unions to pack thier bags. I'm there with balls on.
ReplyDeletewho is that guy in between Tracy and Mahlon.
ReplyDelete12/29/10 1:25 AM
ReplyDeleteI think his name is Ed Pace 4 District At LArge!!!
go Mahlon, I'm coming to hear you speak, down with Circo.
ReplyDeleteI'm for Brandon Ellington 3rd District At large
ReplyDeleteThe time for real change is here, and not that Washington D.C. Shit.
ReplyDeleteReal people finelly!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm for ALL four of them. We need to get out the vote for each of them! They're not running against each other, so we need to put our support behind each one of them. They have a chance of being the new future of Kansas City!!
ReplyDeleteBrandon Ellington it is a damn shame that the so called black leaders are not coming out to support a young black man that wants to make a difference in his community. Because of political bull ties. No way in the heck is melba the best candidates this is an at large race I pray that all of kansas city,mo.due what the sold out black leaders failed to do and that is support and vote for you.
ReplyDeleteWho is Melba?
ReplyDeleteThe black "leaders" aren't supporting Ellington (or Sly James either) because they're scared to death that some people who will actually represent the east side and spend more time on actual public policy than kissing their butts and lining their pockets might actually get elected.
ReplyDeleteBut they're swimming against the same tide as the old bunch on the school board and this time, people have had way more than enough of the old "racism, vitimization, entitlement" crap, and they'll be coming out to vote, and this tired old mess will be swept away.
And just in time to bring some new blood and hope to KCMO.
Is that the Platters?
ReplyDeleteWould anyone be so kind to explain what being 'for the people' and providing 'leadership that cares about the community' means? Without generalizations.
ReplyDeleteWasn't able to find any real stances on their websites (except Ward's). Also, didn't see any work experience noted which you'd think would be one of the first things people would want to know.
Its a shame but its true the old corrupt leadership is over. Talk is0 all they do then they go and sit down and think of the next opportunity to get media attention two weeks ago after the drive by shooting at the church, where are the ministers now? brandon Ellington should be thankful that they aren't shaking him down.
ReplyDelete12/29/10 8:46 AMi-no that not what people want to know you and have a very impressive resume on paper as some of the candidates but ask what they have done for the citizens you will come up blank. You couldn't have all of their bios cause I know for a fact that they give more information then what you stated. Circo didn't come with government experience. But curls and Sanders Brooks did and didn't do a damn thing for their district. you knew how government actually was suppose to work you would understand why we don't want your friend or family members in our elected office period. We want elected officials that reach out to the people in which they want to serve. This is the reason that I will vote for new younger blood.
ReplyDeleteYou don't know what leadershipo is because KCM0 doesn't have any!
ReplyDelete12/29 9:02am, ability to read and write at a decent level is not a requirement apparently.
ReplyDeleteHaving a job is a pretty good indicator of what kind of work you can do 'for the people'. It's the only legitimate evidence other than 'talking the talk' mentioned. Or are people with job experience part of the old school establishment?
12/29/10 9:24 AM- I KNOW WHO YOU ARE! READY FOR RETIREMENT! INSTEAD OF BEING A SEMI SMART "FAT" ASS WHY DON'T YOU LOOK UP THE REQUIREMENTS FOR CITY COUNCIL! IT DOESN'T REQUIRE WORK EXPERIENCE! ONCE AGAIN LOOK WHAT EXPERIENCE HAS DONE TO KANSAS CITY,MO. WHATEVER YOU DO HAVE A GREAT DAY, SUNNY SIDE UP! :)
ReplyDeleteWho is this Melba? What does she do? We know what she doesn't do,but what does she do?
ReplyDeleteMost of you apparently never took a civics class. You blame the people you elect for all your own failure to be responsibile taxpayers.
ReplyDeleteAlong with citizenship comes personal responsibilities. You have to engage your government and elected officials for the changes you want.
What have any of you done (other than make personal attacks) to start the engagement process?
LOOK AROUND THIS CITY IS A MESS!, YOU SEE EXACTLY WHAT(SOME)OF THE CANDIDATES ARE DOING, SOMETHING THAT HAS NOT BEEN DONE!!!(TALKING AND INTERACTING WITH THE COMMUNITY!!!) COME ON STOP ALL THE NEGITIVE TALK!!! "WE HAVE TO DO BETTER"
ReplyDeleteDid you hear!! No joint ticket!!
ReplyDeleteonce yo go black....yo neva go back....yas suh!!!!
ReplyDeletePastor Michael Brooks, meet and greet breakfast hosted at the Peachtree Buffet, "Rise N Shine" annex on January 8, 2010. Come out and meet Pastor Brooks and dine on a Downhome breakfast.
ReplyDeleteNone of these candidates is electable.
ReplyDeleteAnon 9:49 PM
ReplyDeleteSo what if you are right? What if none of them win? There will be a next time & a time after that.
Instead of criticizing, maybe one of you Mandarins can teach?
Is Pastor Brooks paying for the Breakfast?
ReplyDeleteBrandon Ellington is already a winner.
