TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! THE DOWNTOWN PAC SPLITS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HERMANN AND ROWLAND WHILE SNUBBING MAYOR FUNKY'S RE-ELECTION ATTEMPT!!!
It's painfully obvious that most well-informed voters and organizations are moving away from Mayor Funky. It's also interesting that the biz community has completely abandoned the guy.
A RATHER KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTER sent us this presser and notes that the Downtown PAC "really wimped out."
I agree.
But it's also clear that the first consensus Kansas City is coming to in the New Year is that Mark Funkhouser and Co-Mayor Gloria Squitiro can no longer remain in power if this town wants to make any real progress. Check the presser:
DOWNTOWN PAC SUPPORTS CANDIDATES FOR MAYOR
Kansas City, MO-The Downtown Political Action Committee (Downtown PAC) announced its financial support for Mayoral candidates Deb Hermann and Jim Rowland.
While this contribution is not an endorsement, we hope it will help the candidates take their campaign message to the voters. Downtown PAC by-laws require a 75% super-majority vote of all the voting members to make any contribution or endorsement action.
"Revitalization of Downtown has reached a critical juncture and we simply cannot afford to lose our direction," said Steve Taylor, Chairman of the Downtown PAC. "We have a great opportunity before us to ensure a sustainable and vibrant Downtown, yet there remains much work to be completed. In the face of a difficult economy, we are all challenged to dig deeper and work smarter to meet and exceed our expectations. These candidates understand the importance of Downtown to the entire city."

Good, good.
ReplyDeleteGuess theat means we can pull the plug on the campaign of Mike Burke. If he can't get the Downtown folks he is in real trouble.
ReplyDeleteTony likes to have sex with oversized beach balls...he is use to the latex from the blow up dolls, but they don't make any dolls as fat as his mom, so he settles for beach balls. Oversized ones.
ReplyDeleteTony likes to shove live mice up his ass and feel them run around.…Sometimes it makes him go pee in his pants, except its not really pee.
tony smells like fresh cum whenever he is in the cucumber aisle in the supermarket....weird.
tony's mom thought about adopting puppies....but decided against it when she discovered tony's websites of man/puppy porn he was webmaster of. She didnt want to see those puppies fucked.
tony loves kittens best of all; he puts a little warm milk on his dick, and those tiny tongues just go at it.
Ugly Chris Morneno, just ugly.
ReplyDeleteTony, why does your ass not smell like italian sausage anymore? It more of smells like SPAM.
ReplyDeleteNone of this matters after the VICTORY for justice that was announced yesterday.
ReplyDeleteGo Moreno! Go Royster! Go Garza!
I cannot wait to see Louie, Sherwood, Mike, Denny and the lesser demons lined up before a judge hearing how much prison time they are going to have to serve.
And do not forget Mary Jo "I will hide you so you can ditch in line" Spino, who if she turns state's evidence might get off with ten years.
ReplyDeleteTrue, Burke is the biggest champion of downtown and has the most realistic approach to improving it. He's the one who got the snub here.
ReplyDeleteHermann and Roland are both responsible for the downtown area's poor financial situation right now because they voted for the plan.
This is just a desperate and selfish cry by the downtowners for even more money to be poured into that small part of the city. There are already tens of millions of dollars of taxpayer money being spent to propr up the P&L District and other losing TIF projects, and that's money that can't go to streets, public safety, or any other improvements that mean something to actual neighborhoods and residents.
ReplyDeleteThis is a real test for Rowland and Hermann. Do they intend to continue to ignore the rest of the city for the benefit of downtown?
10:31 you are nuts.
ReplyDelete10:57
ReplyDeletewhy are you so afraid of Deb Hermann? your posts are making me want to vote for her. Keep it up and i'll vote for her for sure.
Tony was spotting blogging from 4204 Truman Road this morning. What is up with that?
ReplyDeleteTony and JJ and Henry got reported to the MEC (that stands for Missouri Ethics Commission) 2 days ago for not reporting that advertisements on election day. Damn.
ReplyDeletethey did not mention Deb Hermann's co-mayoral candidate, TIF attorney, Tim Kristl?
ReplyDeletekrystl is a jack ass. his support for deb disqualifies her, in my mind.
ReplyDeleteI guess it's Mayor Rowland.
FUN FACT
ReplyDeleteTony has had more sex with Shetland Ponies than Somalis.
Tony, you're like a tornado of bullshit right now. We'll talk again after your bullshit dies out over someone else's house."
ReplyDeleteTony, the universe does not give a fuck about you. You are a speck in its shit."
ReplyDeleteTony, the worst thing you can be is a liar....Okay fine, yes, the worst thing you can be is a Nazi, but THEN, number two is liar. Nazi 1, Liar 2.
ReplyDeleteCalm down GLORIA. Take a deep breath then STFU.
ReplyDeleteTony... someone's litterin in the room. Kindly put it in the trash. It's not about the first amendment. It's about someone who entertains himself at your readers' expense.
ReplyDeleteIf you dont' know the difference, then maybe you shouldn't be an administrator.
Oh radioman, believing the reader is important, your site is so full of scripts and links that it takes forever to load, don't you think the reader deserves easy access?
ReplyDeleteApply the same logic to your own site, let the reader in or lose your administrator title.
I agree with Radioman about deleting the spam. Its easy to identify.
ReplyDeletedowntown PAC is full of wimpy guys. Rowland? Really? Hermann makes sense because they want to support a woman. So they go with 2?
ReplyDeleteDowntown PAC chickens out. Always hedging their bets because they don't have enough confidence to take a real stand on this, or other, issues. The real slam is to Burke; this was supposed to be his crowd. He has not garnered one significant endorsement, except Citizens, and there is debate about how significant that is.
ReplyDelete4:54 is right.
ReplyDeleteThe comment about the once-significant Citizens Association sounds right.
Interesting point: Citizens is also the only group to endorse Glover. He also looks like he is out of gas.
Is Citizens itself out of gas?
Tony- Tell the truth about Deb Hermann. How much is she paying you? She will only create more damage and hatred in Kansas City. If you vote for her do not expect Kansas City to change.
