WDAF reporter Tess K tells a harrowing story about a local pit bull's struggle for survival after being abandoned. The tale offers something to think about and encourages local pet owners to be more responsible . . . Despite the fact that in other cultures this might be a report about wasted dog meat.

Dogs taking dumps in my yard is a bigger problem.
ReplyDeleteWe need a spay and neuter program for people who dump pets. They should not be allowed to breed.

ReplyDeleteIt costs money to have an animal put down, and well, I have no sympathy for pit bulls. They're predator dogs.
ReplyDeletecat place for spay and neuter of feral (wild) cats.
google "kansas city feral"
11:35: You're probably a racist, too if you stereotype dogs.
ReplyDeleteNOBODY, INCLUDING "RESCUE GROUPS", WILL TAKE A PIT BULL, TERRIER, BRINDLE OR MIX OF ANY OF THE ABOVE. I GUESS THE RESCUE GRUOPS FIGURE IF SOMEONE IS TAKING CARE OF THE POOCH, IT WILL WORK OUT. PEOPLE HAVE LIFE CHANGES, THEY MAY NO LONGER HAVE THE ABILITY TO CARE FOR A DOG. IF SOMEONE HAS NO ALTERNATIVE, HAS TRIED EVERYTHING TO ADOPT THE DOG, HAD TO MOVE TO A CITY THAT OUTLAWS SUCH ANIMALS,AND STILL CAN'T FIND SOMEWHERE FOR THE DOG, THEY MAY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO LET IT RUN FREE. YOU SEE, ONCE THE DOG IS FOUND IN THE WILD, THESE "RESCUE GROUPS" WILL NOW TAKE IT. SAD REALITY.
ReplyDeleteThe pitbulls being left in swope park are from hip hop thug gangsta shit bags. If she really wanted to do real reporting she would have spotlighted this fact.
ReplyDeleteShow me a pit bull and I'll show you a piece of shit for an owner.
ReplyDelete1:25: Just look in the nearest mirror for a piece of shit.
