Kansas City Streets Even More Deadly in 2010

Crime Scene KC: 68 people have died in traffic crashes in Kansas City this year, KCPD Chief Jim Corwin's blog reports. That's about three more than 2009.

    Pity more people have died by Homicide than by accidents. And the real shame is that the majority of the Homicides will go unsolved.

    But we do have some great new police buildings and we'll be getting the latest nifty new equipment thanks to the recent public safety sales tax victory.
    Plenty of money; misguided priorities.

    KCPD is an over-funded under performing police department.
