    Too bad it wasn't right downtown. Then maybe the Downtown PAC would have some more serious priorities for the candidates than keeping their subsidy gravy train running during the next administration.
    We've already had little children and perfectly innocent young people killed by the swirling violence in KCMO. What it's going to take is a new mayor, police chief, leadership in the black community, and sustained public outrage to finally get serious about this.

    More thugs need to be shot and killed on the spot.

    The new mayor should say he is going to do everything in his power to harass the thugs out of town. Then do it.

    (I know, I know. He doesn't have the power, but he should push the police until something is done.)
