The holiday has passed but I was lucky enough to stumble upon one of the most creative Kansas City photo sets I've seen in a long time.
First, check out a description of how Michael Curry made the local Lego dudes as a substitute for X-mas cards.
He put the xxl size toys together with help from a makerbot.
He notes, "The final result was 20 Lego Men at 4x the normal size. Each inscribed with a holiday greeting."
His creation was rightfully touted by more than a few tech blogs.
Make magazine even noted his 4x sized Lego men with this headline and accompanying post: Giant Lego minifigs invade Kansas City
Finally . . .
CHECK OUT A GULLY PHOTO SET FEATURING THE LEGO MEN OF KANSAS CITY!!!
And while I understand that the Kansas City mainstream media M.O. involves a deluge of holiday reporting on depressing, local cancer stories . . . This bit of cowtown creativity certainly offers a reason for celebration.
Did you see that picture of the lego men doing it doggy style? Ewww.
ReplyDeleteThis gave me a good laugh as I headed out the door for some clearance bin Cham-peen sweatpants at Kohl's.
