Chris Hernandez at NBC Action News reports a series of unfortunate events for a local family who TKC readers might recognize: "The Eustons' hardware store was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night. The same store was robbed in October 2009 and in between, about 10 weeks ago, their son Brian was mysteriously killed in Westport."

I know the Eustons. They really are good people who just don't deserve this.
ReplyDeleteIf you are the praying kind, please say a prayer for them.
Please explain again why residents and businesses are moving out of KCMO.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly couldn't be because of the appalling lack of public safety!
After Al Brooks kept $27 of the money the Eustons came up with after their son's death, maybe he could at least offer his services as a security guard at the store. It's sad that someone feels that the only way they can earn a living is by falsely promising to "find the real killer" for a price.
ReplyDeleteHaving a 76 year-old ex-cop and current member of the police board roaming around in America's Pub handing out flyers and encouraging some young people to turn themselves in for a life sentence is a joke. And taking advantage of a grieving family makes it all much worse.
Al Brooks needs to ride into the sunset with Charlie Wheeler. Nothing is more pathetic than watching persons who are no longer relevant trying desperately to assert their relevance.
ReplyDeleteDon's Liquor and Euston's hardware. What a shame this city has become.
ReplyDeleteWhat did you expect from a city that has let this murder rate go on for years. Criminals have nothing to fear from a do nothing city hall, board of police commissioners and mayors office.
ReplyDeleteTony, isn't this the white family you've made so much fun of because they want to find out how their son died and who was responsible?
