TKC readers should feel proud of themselves . . . Widespread interest about Tracy Ward's 6th District At-Large Council Campaign started in the comment section of this humble blog.
NOW TRACY WARD'S CAMPAIGN IS THE SUBJECT OF A RATHER GULLY PITCH FEATURE ARTICLE AND THE FIRST MAJOR PRINT MEDIA PROFILE OF A KANSAS CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATE IN THIS ELECTION CYCLE!!!
I think David Martin did a great job with it. There's some criticism, some background and an honest appraisal of her campaign.
Early morning TKC readers should certainly check it out to learn more about one of the most exciting candidates in the upcoming election as she picks up a great deal of momentum.
Nice rack, might even make the hair acceptable (for about 20 minutes).
ReplyDeleteGood for you Tracy. Let's see who's laughing when you win.
ReplyDeleteEntertaining, but hardly someone to take seriously as a candidate. Her positions are true to the Libertarian Party's philosophy of "no government", but that dog won't hunt in the real world. However, the pink hair is intriquing and I will continue to watch, and think about living in a cave with her.
ReplyDelete7:37: In all fairness, Libertarians run the gamut from conservative to liberal. Many favor programs to help the truly needy and most oppose government handouts to the rich and non-needy. (Think mortgage deductions on Mcmansions.) That said, Tracy may well be too weird for Kansas City.
ReplyDeleteI hope she wins.
ReplyDeleteJMO, but the mistakes she makes in office be OJT, and those same mistakes will not compare to the current climate of corruption.
I wonder what Tracy thinks about Freedom Inc endorsement of Jim Rowland?
I wonder what Tracy thinks about the insider back room deals with Port Authority?
At this point, she is NOT corrupt.
From what I read, and thats all I know, she doesn't owe anyone anything.
JMO, but I think she is great.
Yeah, nice bod. That'd be a switch for the KC council. Honesty and looks.
ReplyDeleteChuck why don't you attend the luncheon and you can ask Tracy!
ReplyDeleteGotta work, was thinkin about sendin a hundred bucks.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention safety issues. (:
Nice article for Bukkake Ward. But they didn't talk about why she got the nickname Bukkake. Care to blog about that Tony?
ReplyDeleteBetween this ditz and the Freedom gang, KC is doomed.
ReplyDeleteGet your head out of your ass....this town is already a shithole cowtown!
ReplyDeleteShe has as much chance of winning as a guy with corn rows, baggy pants, and grills. No one will take that seriously. This isn't Berkeley, CA.
ReplyDeleteTracy is clean from all the agenda bullshit and I for one is sick of the dumbass comments, and backwards thinking. If you want your city to fall into the a black hole then found keep what you have at city hall, and stop your punk ass complaining. I for one like Tracy and the new blood that is being pumped out I'm sick and tried of "chuckle-fucks" always taking shit but don't what to back the people that really has thier best interrest at heart. I say go Tracy, and all the new blood. I for one will be at the luncheon.
ReplyDeleteMartin did do a great job, and it unfortunately makes Ward look pretty silly.
ReplyDeleteThe opposite of crooked insiders isn't a nieve, clueless, uninformed person. How can someone talk about repealing the e-tax and then show that she doesn't even know how the KCMO budget works?
There are some serious anti-establishment canidates with ideas and a real chace of winning, Ellingotn comes to mind, but Tracy isn't one of them.
Her last job was a bartender. Enough said.
ReplyDeleteThats just it, her last job was bartender.
ReplyDeleteShe is NOT corrupted, and whats wrong with bartenders?
Whats wrong with plumbers, electricians, carpenters, sewer workers, street cleaners, fast food workers?
Tell me, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH US!!!???!!!???
Nothing!!
And its so fucked up downtown, no matter what she does, and she will no doubt fuck some shit up, it will get better, because, and this you jaded fucks, is important, because she is honest and cares.
At least that is my impression.
Now me, I am gong to go back to my blue collar 30K existance today and hope Tracy of Arc brings down the fuckin Bastille motherfucker!!
Bartenders my fuckin ass!!!
This incessent, ongoing and unwarranted respect for the elite, the fortunate sons of sons of bitches who usually aquired power through familial ties and connections tinctured by cash is gotta stop.
ReplyDeleteI guess we should all vote for nothing but lawyers.
I get up every day, drink coffee and shit bigger than 95% of all the lawyers I have ever know, and pal, I have known some fuckin lawyers.
An esoteric arcane conceptual bullshit knowledge of facts that the rest of us, as of yet have not studied, in no way guarantees success in another field, and in fact, in our freshly remembered past has left the middle class (Whats left of it) in the fuckin lurch.
Lawyers in other, new professions send us to wars we don't need to fight, steal your fuckin 401Ks, deflate the price of your house, evict your goddamn grandmother for non payment, put us prisons capriciously and arbitrarily for crimes they commit.
Bartenders my fuckin ass!!!!
Youd think every lawyer or white collar guy you met belongs to some secret fuckin club where they wald around with the nuclear launch codes and we need to spread rose petals and hozannas on high to these fucks.
Bartenderes my ASS!!!!
Hey Chuck and all the other naive ones: Do you think her husband will let me perform at his next gig? I have never played an instrument, can't sing, and have never been on a public stage but I look cool? There are schools that teach policy, budget, public administration. There are also bartending schools but those are for bartenders.

ReplyDeleteGood point, still time for a change.
Those folks that are in power, entrenched, isolated and driven by failed agendas must step down and let a new generation of Americans (I fuckin love that.) make mistakes and bring some fresh eyes to what has become a farce at City Hall.
Being a plebe, a worker bee, I think my fellow plebes, bartenders, et al, will achieve just as much as a bunch of lawyers.
Tracy can read, she has contacts I presume, she can refer legal matters to the appropriate people.
I am willing to listen to you sing, if the last 50 performers sucked.
Belt one out!!
I agree with 10:31 except for "refer legal matters to the appropriate people". That very action is what causes corruption and inefficient governance. Get lawyers involved too much and they begin to devour the system. We need elected leaders that know when the legal community is overstepping and overpowering the business of City Government. Is Tracy or any of your favorite candidates equipped for that? The lawyers are waiting on the sidelines of this election to see who they can pounce upon. Sorta like vultures waiting for the dying animal to become a carcass.
ReplyDeleteChuck ypur wrong on this one. I get that you dont like the continued revolving door of special interest and their supported candidates, but that h!s much more to do with campaign finance and system reform than it does with electing uninformed inexperienced candidates because your fed up. Tracy is a sweet person but woild be an unmitigated disaster as an elected official. Both from a pokicy creation standpoint and a phyaical representation of the voters to internal and outside interests looming to invest in the city. Think a east coast ceo gets off the plane and has ward as his host is intstilled with the impression of professionalism? Come on man, there is a lot of groud between a pink haired service slasher and someone who is not corrupt. You wouldnt ask a bartender to stitch up a nerve in your spinal column, running a city is tough business with many complex unintended hazards and conflicts with every decision. It wont matter i doubt she breaks double digits.
ReplyDeleteI am sure she is a sweet person. However, KCMO and the KCSD has a long history of unqualified people placed in positions that effected generations. The qualified professionals want nothing to do with the circus of racism from BOTH sides and bare feet.
ReplyDeleteGood Photo Shop work in these two pics.
ReplyDeleteWhe was much thinner in these pics then in the pic taken yesterday.
ReplyDelete3 week old Christmas hams.
ReplyDeleteTony's says they dont taste bad as long as they are honey-glazed.
I wish Tony would honey-glaze my ham.
ReplyDeleteJJ, can you introduce us?
Good article that shows how woefully ignorant she is. It's cute to have ideas like hers about taxes and budgeting when you are 12 years old. It's flat out retarded when you're 34 or whatever she is. Stick to holding a protest sign and leave the elected offices to the adults.
ReplyDelete11:01
ReplyDeleteGood points, but I went down and gave her some cash anyway.
I hope she wins.
Pink hair and all.
I had a catfish sandwhich--wasn't bad at all, little skimpy on the fish though.
Back to work.
I'll bet that cooter tastes like a cherry lolipop and that poopy tastes like cotton candy!!! GO TRACY!!!!
ReplyDeleteNice Photoshop. She has definitely porked out. She has a huge ass.
ReplyDeleteWhoever touches up her photos in Photoshop does a fantastic job.
ReplyDeleteThis council didn't screw up this City, it was the previous council and "tax and spend Kay Barnes"
ReplyDeleteCitizen Chuck :) ... investing in the future!
ReplyDeleteVote Bukkake!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I just can't wait to have the local bartender take over the budget. It's just the right thing to do...
ReplyDeleteWhen I gave Tracy the money- I told her I always tip the bartender.
ReplyDeleteI always do, they work as hard as anyone of the rest of us blue collar guys who get dirt under their finger nails.
She has as much chance of winning as a guy with corn rows, baggy pants, and grills. No one will take that seriously. This isn't Berkeley, CA.12/29/10 9:18 AM
ReplyDeleteFYI- KCMSD Board President Airick L.West was elected plus he where's a rag on his head.
WOW...it truly amazes me how so many of you want to talk about Tracy's ass or reck or what her previous occupation was but yall do it anonymously???????? What does her reck or ass or the pictures taken of her have to do with what she stands for? What do you guys do for our City. No matter what Tracy's background is and how naive she might still is to the corruption of our politics at least she is trying to do something to better things, which is more than most of you can say about yourselfs.
ReplyDeleteWhat is wrong with you people? Do you actually like the way Kansas City is going down because of selfishness, self profit seeking and corrupt people and you rather talk bad about someone that is trying to do something positive for the people instead of supporting her??? Wake up
we need more people like Tracy out there trying to do the right things for the people maybe then the people of this City can start rebuilding their lifes for a better future for our children.
