KANSAS CITY CANDY APPLE RED DEBUT TURNS AWAY CROWDS @ SCREENLAND CROWN CENTER!!!



Last night was HUGE for Kansas City's Independent movie scene.

Filmmaker Todd Norris Debuted his short film Candy Apple Red to a capacity crowd at The Screenland Crown Center.

ORGANIZERS OF THE EVENT REPORT THAT THEY TURNED AWAY MORE THAN TWO DOZEN PEOPLE!!!

Cinema KC and The Kansas City IFC deserve credit for spreading the word.

Norris featured above with Lisa Marie Evans, Sharon Wright and Jerry Rapp answered questions from the enthusiastic gathering about the process of developing the short movie over a year.

The complex tale of flirtation and interpersonal relationships is new ground for Norris who seems to be ramping up his creative output thanks to breakthroughs in Micro Four Thirds technology



Norris has submitted his movie to a great many festivals and should be hearing back soon. In the meantime, TKC will certainly report upcoming local screenings that demonstrate Kansas City's creative community making important strides.
