Jackson County Payday

The Star: Jackson County to consider 3 percent merit raises for employees in 2011

Comments

  1. Given the fact that employees normally get 3% a year, and this hasn't happened it four years, than the county owes its employees at least a 12% raise. 3% is an insult.

  2. Then go to work in the real world loser where I havn't had a raise in 5 years. No one has. Get a grip on reality. The only reason you work in government is you can't hack it in the real world.

Try working in the real world some time.

If JaCo was a private company, half of those working there now would of been gone years ago and the ones left would be sitting on at least 3 years of no raises, at least a 5% cut in pay and have had the pleasure of taking 4 weeks of unpaid furlough off a year.

Stop whining. You're lucky we don't burn both courthouses down.
