This will be the most thankless job in Kansas City. There'll be a long line of people with no money who want things done just their way and just for them. And a big crowd that is against every proposal.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Polsinellie law firm can move into one of them.
And unless something serious is at least tried to curb the violence, nobody is going to move back into the district and fill up any of these buildings in the future.
You might as well accept reality, take the loss, and tear most of them down.
tony, the link died. got another one?
ReplyDeleteThe Repurposer position will be another shady inside deal I am afraid. I have heard from more than one very qualified candidate, who are not already insiders at the KCMSD and the they never even received a call back. Hope this isn't the case and that the person selected is hard working and honest, but given the history...
ReplyDeleteYet we can fork out $95 Million for a new Prison up in Leavenworth. I suppose we're going to need it at the rate basic quality education is being dismantled.
ReplyDeleteShady deals and back door connections. It will interesting to know whom the selected person is connected to at the district.
ReplyDeleteJason Holsman wants to make one of these schools into a shrine for Cathy Jolly and her Mediocrity
