Once again, it's time to enjoy so many middle-class people in Kansas City pretending not to smell poop and ignoring long term, local water infrastructure fail despite so many promises from elected officials.
Let's get ready for WaterFire Kansas City 2010.
It's an enchanting evening of music, sights, people and the vague smell of open sewer back splash in the Autumn air on The Country Club Plaza.
Flushy.
ReplyDeleteIt stinks
ReplyDeleteLets watch burning turds in shit creek.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best events in KC, and its FREE!
ReplyDeleteI'm not ignoring infrastructure problems. It's just that we need a 1,000 room hotel and light rail first.
ReplyDeleteThis is why I always wipe the toilet seat first.
ReplyDeleteFrom a lady's perspective, the toilet seat should have been put down!
ReplyDeleteThis is the way we clean the toilets down at the bus depot.
ReplyDeleteBringing more attention to the potential of Brush Creek to one day become an urban river park system is a great way to build public support for improving the city's water infrastructure.
ReplyDeleteThe current river park is a huge improvement in controlling the dangerous and damaging flooding there, so we are making progress.
We tend to care for what we value and see.
Let's respect the progress we have made thus far, while we push for further improvements.
I love the transformation that happens with the lighting of the fires.
That should happen sometime in the next quarter century. Don't hold your breath.
