Here is the eyewitness report:

"I don't know what actually happened it was all kind of confusing. It had to have happened somewhere between noon and one today. I was walking back from having lunch with a friend at P+L and there was a big mess and some dudes standing around. A huge light pole...One of the stylized ones in the area got knocked down.

Its weird because there was a truck with the warning lights on sitting next to there and also a big freight truck. But none of them looked like they had the kind of damage that would have come from hitting that thing with enough force to take it down."



Thankfully, it doesn't look like anybody was hurt and seems like just a common Downtown KC mishap.



Nevertheless, protecting downtown from destruction, accidents and anything harmful is one of TKC's biggest concerns and that's why I'm opposed to that dumbass hotel that Cindy Circo keeps pushing.
