This August will mark 100 issues published for Kansas City's LGBT news source of record CampKC. This is an important milestone for alternative publishing in Kansas City and definitely marks the increased influence of the LGBT community in Kansas City politics, culture and life. Look closely at their covers over the years and see their influence on the political scene by featuring Kay Barnes, Jolie Justus and Beth Gottstein. Congratulations to the all of the CampKC crew who are an inspiration to independent publishers and voices throughout this cowtown.
