The TKC Saturday Profile: Tracy Ward Stands For Liberty In Kansas City!!!

Here's yet another great thing about this blog, I'm beginning to talk to younger folks just starting to make their mark on this town's political scene. One of the best and brightest of these new local activists is Tracy Ward of The Liberty Restoration Project.

Remember that this group made some serious challenges to Red Light Cameras over the Winter, recently they took part in an anti-war protest last weekend (captured here in an amazing photo by Eric Bowers), they where mixing it up in the veggie war over Urban Farming and what I'm hearing is that that Tracy is soon to take a more active role in even more pressing local issues.

I've talked to Tracy a few times and she's very dedicated to the causes for which she advocates and a great many of the ideals espoused by her group. What I'm hoping is that she takes an even greater interest in the affairs of KC Proper and her group continues to put their principles into practice in this cowtown.

Her activism is worth noting and Tracy Ward is certainly starting to make a name for herself on the local, political scene.
