ONCE AGAIN KRAZY KRIS KOBACH THINKS HE'S GOING TO WIN!!!

Recently, Tess K. of WDAF finished an AMAZING STORY regarding UMKC Prof. Kris Kobach and his typical pep talk on this mostly unconstitutional work.

Yet again, the perennial UMKC loser thinks this might just be the time his efforts stay on the books.

Meanwhile . . . "Senator Lindsey Graham (R) of South Carolina said during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing that he believes the Arizona law is unconstitutional."

President Obama called it "misguided" and "US Attorney General Eric Holder told reporters on Tuesday that he has assembled a group of lawyers from the Justice Department and the Department of Homeland Security to weigh a possible federal lawsuit."

In other words . . . Kobach might be getting paid but he's definitely setting a precedent as one of the most universally defeated dudes Kansas City has to offer in a field other than pro sports.

  1. Just remember that depending on the client, most lawyers are just 'hired liars'.

Generally don't hassle them for doing what a client wants done. Besides, writing an unconstitutional law is job security for you to defend it, and a josb for other lawyers to overturn it. And for reporters to report on it.

    It's a win win thing.

  2. And UMKC School of Law continues to bankroll this agent of hate. UMKC School of Law brings new meaning to the words "Institutional Hate".

  4. I like Kobach and will vote for him. Graham is a fine example of what's wrong with the Republican Party.

  5. bankrolling Kobach? Oh fucque. Presumably they pay him to teach classes.

What he does on the side is none of UMKC's business.

Or do you think your employer should dictate what you can and cannot do when not on his site? Think about the ramifications of that before you shoot off your mouth.

  6. We need to shut down UMKC for supporting hate law.

  7. Oh, anony... you need to think that out, discuss it amongst YOURSELF and analyze the absurdity of shutting down a university because one faculty member who's a lawyer is doing what his client (The state of AZ) is paying him for!)

I'm so glad you're not in charge of anything, because you don't think very well! Remember... the concept of 'unintended consequences.'

You'd close down a KC university because you don't like what one of its faculty members is doing on the side? Think about that for a minute or two.

Just because you CAN post a message doesn't mean you SHOULD. I think you need to LISTEN for awhile. And go learn what 'critical thinking' is.

    rman sed it.

  8. Isn't the bigger news that Graham said he'd "bet all his was worth" that immigration wouldn't pass this year? He's the only Republican who has been willing to put his name to any immigration legislation and he told Napolitano yesterday to pack it up.

Damn, I didn't know he wrote the federal law that is already on the books - you know the same law that the State of Arizona duplicated? It's just a bunch of libs trying to make something out of nothing. Probable cause is the law-of-the-land, so what in the hell is new? I know - libs need for the Reps to look bad, so they invent a reason.

  10. I though Graham was talking about the Banking Bill, but even if the Immigration bill, it's only the way he sees it now.

It's pretty clear the Republicans don't want this Immigration issue to come up before the 2010 elections. badly timed, because they can't win on it.

Probably no one wants it now... for the Dems are working on Banking right now, now that health care is over.

I'm sure all wish Immigration would come up after Banking is over.

And of course Repubs would rather it not come up at ALL because Repubs really don't want ANY government reform of ANY kind to come up. Remember... they're into NO government changes, now that Bush detoothed the bankruptcy laws. Repubs want things pretty much just the way they are now. Lotsa money to be made off the backs of American middle class.

  11. Where is there a Federal Law that US citizens have to carry proof?

  12. Just because you write it Tony doesn't make it so.

Anon 5:51 - It's called a Green Card, and it is required to be on your person. Also, 42 states have laws that you have to carry some form of identification. How hard is this? If you are documented, carry documents. Not much simpler than that.

  14. hmm..so how does a Latino person prove he is a US Citizen? And how would a person have reasonable suspicion to pull over a Latino person? Would it be based on the color of their skin?

  16. Take A Look at the Code4/28/10, 8:53 PM

The real blame is placed on the the professors at UMKC LAW SCHOOL who work with him quietly. They should organize and protest, but they do not because most of them also use the laws to benefit themselves. Like Professor Jeff Burman, whose home is a neighborhood eyesore and that is built outside all codes.

  18. Tony: Write an article on what you think about U.S. borders (should they exist?) and U.S. laws (should they be enforced?).

  19. He was a shitty prof, but I lol at these left wing warriors who want to boycott the school because there is one right-wing pundit on faculty.

Shoe is on the other foot, bitches!

  20. 11:31..Kobach crossed the line from conservative to hate. I don't see any "Anarchist" teaching at UMKC School of Law. Bitches..well KK maybe one too.
