The Olympian Reports . . . Kansas City fans boo ex-Royals MVP . . . MARINERS: Sweeney unfazed, tells his son, ‘You’ve got to be pretty good to be booed’
Remember these are some of the same people who booed Bo Jackson while he was making sports history. And the very same dorks who mistakenly believe that Zach Greinke is something more than just hype.
Royals fans have been consistently wrong, misguided and mostly naive about baseball for almost a generation. This is just the latest example of their ignorance.

and what do you know about baseball, tony?
ReplyDeleteGrienke deserved all of those wins. It was the bullpen who screwed them up.
ReplyDeleteRoyals fans booed Bo Jackson because he blew that team up with his selfish decision to play football...and because he could never learn the strike zone. Yes he do the freakish run up the wall and throw a runner out from the warning track, but mostly he would get bored and let easy pop flies drop and let people like Frank Tanana strike him out again and again and again. I guess you're just one of those suckers that were fooled by Nike, Tony.
ReplyDeleteI was a huge Bo Jackson fan in my youth but make sports history? He wasn't the first pro football and pro baseball player. Not the biggest money player. Didn't win championships. How did he make history?
ReplyDeleteexactly 7:41. THAT was the kind of hype tony accuses the royals and the city heaping on zack and us, the unsuspecting, unknowledgeable public.
ReplyDeleteYour an idiot, you know nothing of sports.Your the only mexican on the Westside that doesnt know shit about the Royals.
ReplyDeleteTony, I'm surprised you can even type the word "class."
ReplyDeleteTony writing about sports is like Jason Whitlock writing about politics! Boo-ya!
ReplyDeleteWho cares! Baseball is so slow and old school, most people are checking email on thier phones during the whole game.
ReplyDeleteSoccer is in, Baseball is out.
MLS is the new summer sport and it's growing, baseball is dying.
Tony is the king of no classs, so I gotta take his word about the fans on this.
ReplyDeleteBut I think you are wrong about Greinke. He pitched a gem of a game Tuesday!
right up until the Royals lost.
ReplyDeleteDoh!
"Tony is the king of no classs..."
ReplyDeleteYou can say that about 1,000 more times.
