There's news of yet another push to fight the Volunteer Ordinance which kicked Co-Mayor Gloria Squitiro to the curb.
Sadly, it seems the Mayor has put more effort into this fight than he applied to recent budget discussions.
Let's not forget that Mayor Funkhouser only went to one out of six constituent budget meetings with the City Council.
And now the Co-Mayors and their daughter are fighting to get Gloria's bare feet back on the 29th floor.
At this point . . . Now that they've been totally marginalized. Kansas City's Co-Mayors would do KC a favor if they'd just resign . . . But that's not going to happen. Instead, this town must deal with another expensive legal battle in order to satisfy Mayor Funky's arrogance, stubbornness and gross mismanagement.
Mayor Funky's useless fight in honor of Gloria Squitiro's feet should be reason enough for his recall . . . As of now, it's just another indication of the guy's screwed up priorities.
Stay home Gloria
ReplyDeleteGuess this is truly the softer and gentler Star when it comes to Mayor Funkee now. The Star never writes about motions before they are filed. It's there policy. Do you think Mayor Funkee would have given THE STAR the motion early if Deanne were still around? No way Jose.
ReplyDeleteDan stop pimping your lame stories.
ReplyDeleteForced retirement is coming for you and for all of us as well.
Oh, hell! I give up. Put the entire Funkhouser-Squitiro clan on the 29th floor ... and then seal all exits behind them.
ReplyDeleteBwahahahahahahaha
ReplyDeletehow can GS be a benefit to the city of Kansas City? She's already cost KC untold $$$ dollars due to her mere presence on the 29th Floor.
ReplyDeleteAll BS aside, she has no economic benefit to the City of KC.
