Overheard from Gov. Blunt

Once again, Gov. Blunt was caught playing dodge ball by local media people.

Normally, Cable news doesn't bother giving a contrasting opinion when it come to immigration rhetoric. Faux-Populist chatter is always given heaps of airtime while any rational, coherent or informed view is cast aside.

In fact, media would rather hear from open borders wackos then hear a discussion of facts.

It turns out that politicos are the same . . . Last night A BUNCH OF NEWSIES overheard Blunt respond to news that Mike Talboy might be debating him on second half of Lou Dobbs show:
"If Talboy is going to be on the program, then I'm not showing up." is what the Gov. said according to newsies who like to gossip with TKC.
This provides a bit of explanation as to why the Gov's career has been so horrible. He just doesn't like to be challenged or even questioned. Think about it: The Gov. doesn't want to answer questions from a FRESHMAN State Rep . . . It just doesn't look good and it's a clear sign that anti-immigration forces don't want a Democratic dialogue, they simply want their dictates carried out without question.
