Even more Kansas City opposition to bare feet, racist language, sexy comments and craziness in the Mayor's office!!!
According to today's editorial from The Wednesday Sun: "Squitiro causing more harm than good for city"
Clearly, opposition to Mayor Funky's nepotism and stubbornness has now filtered down from the political elite and mainstream media figures to smaller community publications and the rest of the plebs. Funkhouser's stand on this one is utterly indefensible and every day Squitiro stays at City Hall Kansas City's Mayor loses credibility.
Personally, I'm just waiting to read the next Holiday letter but I'm pretty sure that NO ONE in Kansas City media has advocated that Squitiro is an essential and beneficial part of the Mayoral Administration.
Since public support for Squitiro is at absolute zero . . . I think the Council has a lot of freedom to act on this one and should just directly address the Co-Mayors . . . The vast majority of voters and Council people agree that she needs to go so a resolution should be drafted directly aimed at Squitiro who has not only become Kansas City's biggest distraction but also someone who is now costing Kansas City because of her "volunteer" services . . . There's no denying that any other volunteer would have been dismissed at this point and Funkhouser's endorsement of nepotism at the highest levels of City Government demonstrates that a great deal of his talk regarding reform was only empty rhetoric.
Gloria Must Go . . . Kansas City doesn't need a Co-Mayor . . . TKC would actually like to see someone, anyone defend her conduct other than anonymous d-bags on local blogs.
I thought she was pretty rank when several of the campaign volunteers witnessed her groping her husbands crotch.. in front of them. A very nice man told her to stop. She asked him if he wanted it too.
ReplyDeleteThis was the apex of her public life.
I look forward to the court proceedings.
Unfortunately, the Gruesome Twosome, being divorced from reality, probably don't car much about an editorial from the Sun. As we found out, they care deeply about only themselves. No need to let a newspaper editorial or reality interfere witheir grand adventure.
ReplyDeleteJust wait until you get a load of Mike Sharp and his bevey of bimbos when he buys the Sheriff's office. He will make Gloria look like Sister Mary Innocent.
ReplyDeleteBig News: Small time paper jumps on Tony's bandwagon. Too bad. They're only headed downhill.
ReplyDeletePLEEEEEEZE - will someone file some sort of law suit against the City of Kansas City as follows:
ReplyDeleteSince Gloria is the real chief of staff, it is squandering the City's funds and a gross case of featherbeding to continue to pay Ed Wolf. Either Ed or Gloria must go.
Ed Wolf has shown himself to be the typical City employee - sopping up a big pay check and not doing much of anything for it. How can anyone with any sense of self worth continue as Chief of Staff in name only? Guess it pays very well to be a yes man.
Okay. I'll bite.. Where do we look to get to the Mike Sharp background?
ReplyDeleteHere's a little story..
ReplyDeleteMayor's Christmas tree fund.
This fund some how winds up at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. There are set rules on forming the oversight board, soliciting funds and dispersal of the money. Last year the fund came up short.
Was most of the money spent on a band to play at the tree lighting ceremony? That is the current suggestion.
As for the board composition.. it is required to have one "city staff" person, not sure if it must be from the Mayor's office. Bernetta Burton was assigned to this seat, she was subsequently removed and REPLACED by squitiro. Several city attorneys were also shown the door by squitiro. That is the truth.
Thee EEOC lawsuit contends that squitiro was a defacto supervisor. At the very least she presented herself as a city staffer in regard to this fund. We all know how she keeps the books.
Ed Wolf isn't going anywhere. All rummors and kidding aside, he seems to have latched on to a golden gravy train. From what gets posted, he's got his whole family living off the City. Another warrior from the "Orange Revolution."
ReplyDeleteTurns out that the "orange Revolution" was another Funkhouser scam too!.
Thin Margin start at any lee's summit bar. You will find him and matt blunt's dmv buddies shopping his daughters friends.
ReplyDeletedid cleaver or barnes do anything really bad that you didn't like?
