A town hall is coming up regarding genetic research in Kansas City. Starting March 8, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at the Kauffman Foundation. More specifically, the topic will focus on a proposed "biobank" which would contain genetic samples and health information from volunteers. Scientists would use the information in the biobank to conduct research on the causes of many common diseases . . . And hopefully they'll also work towards building TKC a Cyborg lady friend that's blonde, 9 feet tall, unable to ask questions, doesn't celebrate any major holidays and is powered by cleaning my bathroom.
