Just Cara isn't joining any kind of movement, she just brilliantly posted her objections to the freakshow coming to Kansas City at the end of this week.
I've been harping on the issue that Union Station has utterly failed to perform any kind of due diligence when it comes to the consent of the bodies displayed.

It's one of the best posts I've read all week . . . And it's nice to see some folks in the blogosphere doing what blogs do best: Calling bullshit on corporate propaganda and obvious inconsistencies.
Similarly, I think this post against the exhibit carries a lot more credibility than the recent decision by local Catholic schools to avoid the exhibit.
As I've written previously, there's no need to march or sign a petition or scream: Bloggers who feel moved to write against this freakshow should simply have the courage (like Cara) to post their feelings. And please, send me a link!!!

ReplyDeleteAre talking about the edict sent out by the local bishops? All local Catholic schools have been warned against viewing the exhibit. According to the same article, many Catholic schools still have plans to visit the show.

Would this Catholic church be the same Catholic church opposed to sensible birth control and HIV education for developing nations? The same church that will not permit parity for gay and lesbians, nor women? Is this the church with the moral outrage? They have an opinion on human right I should take seriously?
