A blogger remembers Brock

Nick Davis, Kansas City blogger extraordinaire, has fond memories of the latest new hope for Missouri's GOP.

Apparently, Brock Olivo didn't realize that bloggers might remember his conduct back in college:
I have very interesting memories of Brock Olivo. He used to come to our fraternity parties and try to steal bottles of liquor. Then he'd want to fight us all.

A fine GOP congressman he will make!
Great, theft and bullying . . . At least now we have a sneak peak at his stance on Medicare in this exclusive report from a KC blogger.

  1. Drunkneness and theft are fine qualities for a politician but most are way to cowardly to fight.

  2. Wow, this has got to be the most blatant piece of libel I've read in the blogosphere. I think you should check your facts before posting such false claims...it really detracts from the credibility of your site. If you will do some research, read some past news articles, ask around to some credible sources, you would find out that Brock Olivo didn't even drink in college, more the less brawl. He was voted the most likeable guy on campus, and was inducted into the highly exclusive Mystical 7 honor society for his representation of the student body. Your statements are pure libel, and it's sad.

  3. If he gives back the beer all if forgiven.

  4. Oh give me a break. I studied with him too. He was voted to those because of his rep on campus. You don't get a bigger meathead ass than this guy. He's a moron.

  5. The envy syndrome among most of you on this site is hilarious. I'm sure you all are wanna-be's that were cut from every high school team you dreamt about. Please try to post some actual content with facts and you might have better luck, or at least more credibility. It's funny that everything I've googled and read back on the guy depicts him to be smart, witty, and a class act. Wonder why you are all now just posting the opposite? Might you be Dems on a blatantly Dem site? Nah...Probably just more jealous than anything. There's always the local youth league you can go try out for, maybe your son's daughter's teams? Those poor kids.

  6. I can't believe some of the crap I've read on this site. Brock has arguably the best reputation of any Missouri Tiger ever! It's so obvious and scary that extreme political ideals would drive somebody to engage in such unfounded personal attacks of a really excellent character. You character bashers should go home, sit this one out. We, the masses, know Brock and we know what he stands for: honesty, leadership, integrity, and values. We'll take that to the polls with us.

  7. Why would I envy Brock Olivo? I played baseball for MU, not Football. He was a drunk tool. No envy there just calling it like it is.

  8. I remember Brock from college. The guy is such a meathead that the only thing he should be running for is a football.

  9. Oh my god, you people must be kidding. Meathead? I was in the same HONOR SOCIETY at Mizzou with Brock-Mystical 7. Meatheads get elected to secret societies like that? I beg your pardon, but there is no evidence of anything of the sort, and a resume a mile long to support my comments. Brock is THE most upstanding guy I met during my time at Mizzou, and I'm sure he's not changed much. This is ridiculous.
