Save your energy this X-mas

One of my favorite Missouri bloggers provides an important tip about conserving electricity with the X-mas lights you chose during the holidays.
By grouping several LED's together, they are much brighter and more efficient than a conventional bulb. They don't produce heat, should last 5 times longer and operate with 98% less energy. So it turns out they make beautiful Christmas lights, without the worry.
I know what else would make the season bright . . . If the local radio stations would stop reminding me how broke I am with all of their X-Mas garbage, music and phony love for their fellow man. That would be a good start and then I can concentrate on all of the important family gatherings, social events and X-mas time traditions that I must avoid by employing clever excuses in order to save my own energy . . . Which is the only natural resource I really want to conserve.
