Grandma always was trashy

All right, admit it when you heard about the story of a local grandma getting dumped in the trash yesterday you couldn't help but laugh a little especially given that fact that you'll probably be avoiding contact with all of your relatives for at least a month after Thanksgiving and then only to pick up that X-mas check.

An 84-year-old woman is recovering after she was robbed, beaten and thrown in a trash bin Saturday.

According to police, the woman was having dinner in her Red Bridge home near 104th Terrace and Wornall Road Saturday night when a man broke in through a window.

A few other observations: South KC continues its downward slide and since the incident took place near Red Bridge I can only suspect that Chuck Eddy has finally found a more efficient way to get residents to go along with his efforts to destroy their homes. Also, the phrase "white trash" is a lot more hurtful than you think, especially when used on women who won't date you, please use the term "hillbilly" instead . . . It's a lot more fun and reminds us not only of the roots of this nation but also explains why Britney Spears and Larry the Cable guy still have careers.
