Bullard Boasts Bogus Booster!!!

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Race already seems exceptionally embarrassing.

bosshoggandroscoepursuit.jpg

So far, there was the laughable mad dash to get on the ballot first which not only underestimated voters but also didn’t say much for the belief in the merits of the candidates.

Let’s not forget some Internet d-bag keeps bringing up a dead dog issue that’s completely un-classy and not important.

But it gets worse . . .

Thanks to rumors circulating on the Internet and a couple of e-mails sent my way . . . It’s TKC’s duty as the “honorary Honesty Sheriff of Kansas City’s Internets” (not really) to draw attention to an important misstep:

JOHN BULLARD, CANDIDATE FOR JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF, HAS BEEN FALSELY CLAIMING THAT HE HAS CONGRESSMAN EMANUEL CLEAVER’S ENDORSEMENT!!!

In fact, I just got off the phone with Cleaver’s office and they tell me that the Congressman isn’t endorsing any of the candidates in the race filled with mostly Democrats.

As of this writing, the unsanctioned use of Cleaver’s endorsement is still featured prominently on Bullard’s website.

Word of this “controversy” has been floating around the Internets for weeks and I’m honestly surprised that Bullard just didn’t take down the offending passage.

TKC SUGGESTED HEADLINE: “Major Boo-Boo for Bullard”

Rumor also has it that Bullard was warned about the use of the phony endorsement and he still didn’t comply with requests to take it down.

Frankly, I don’t know why anybody would want to be Jackson County Sheriff anyway . . . They don’t seem to get any real perks anymore . . .

dukeshazzardmovieclip.jpg

In fact, other than parades and the occasional pot bust I thought that the position of Jackson County Sheriff was pretty much a ceremonial thing . . . But what do I know?

Anyhoo, TKC is glad to clear up this rumor for the local Internets but I’m also scared that whoever does win this election that’s still many months away is going to have me arrested for being so damn gully . . . I still think I’m backing Bullard, I like his style. Then again, anybody offering me a job as deputy will win my favor (provided I get to carry a firearm). FINAL NOTE ON THIS SUBJECT: I would have labeled this post a TKC EXCLUSIVE, but I’m honestly surprised anyone really cares.

    Fucking hilarious.

I don’t blame Cleaver for avoiding a confirmation of endorsement. Cleaver is just avoiding political problems in an unimportant race filled with crybaby candidates.

I know all of the candidates very well and favor neither as most are good guys. Honestly, Bullard isn’t the kind of guy that fakes an endorsement. I see Cleaver staying out of a public endorsement but endorsing him privately which is probably where the endorsement came from.

I want to become a sheriff so I can work as a security at the entrance of Jackson County Courthouse. I’ll get to use one of those wand thingies.

This is bullshit! Where is The Star? Where is The Examiner? Where is the AP? Where is Mahoney? This is total Bullshit.

John “Cheater” Bullard should resign from the race TONIGHT!

IF he has the nerve to appear in St. Patrick’s Day Parades Tony’s readers should boo him!

I hate to get calls alerting me to slanderous statements made by greasers with agendas.

Tony is just being a slime sucking ghey boy fighting for Mike Mauer who has hired Enrique Chaurand, the latino whore who white candidates hire to rent some darker genetics. Gee, is this a surprise that this “story” broke here?

I am good friends with all of the candidates. Not sure yet who I’m voting for, but what I do know is that Bullard is no cheater. There may have been a retraction or a misunderstanding, but Bullard isn’t the guy to make up false endorsements. He’s simply not that guy. Look Bullard has been in the race for 2008 Sheriff for 4 years literally. My other friends, a couple of months. So in that four years a lot of people could have endorsed him. I understand politics is politics, but I hope my friends stop the whisper campaigns because John Bullard is no killer and is no cheater. Best of luck to all of the candidates.

Also, Enrique Chaurand is no “latino whore”. He is a very good man and he and his family have done a lot for the Kansas City community; a lot more than Bull Rider has ever done, I can assure you of that.

Wow, a meaningless argument in a meaningless race. Who cares who our sheriff is unless you live out in the sticks.

  • 15 Mitt // Mar 15, 2008 at 8:56 am

8up maybe the 2,000 plus employees within Jackson County? Maybe those that enjoy parks and lakes, like Lake Jacomo? I care about Sheriff as the wrong one could bring consequences to the people.

8 up, you won the retarded comment of the day award. If you would like to collect your award you can stuff your head up your ass and get it. Freaking idiot!

I know John Bullard, and I am not surprised at any of this.

  • 19 Anonymous // Mar 16, 2008 at 1:07 am

Boring! I’m going to catch some zzzzs Can someone just wake me up when Bullard wins? I would like to attend any party that he may have just because his opponents are spreading pointless rumors about him.

  • 20 Kevin // Mar 17, 2008 at 11:52 am

It amazes me that Bullard has been in the race for Sheriff twice now and all these negative rumours are just now coming to light. Could it be that the other candidates are scared he may win this time. Bullard is the best choice for Sheriff hands down. Don’t waste your vote this August, vote for a real winner.

Hey Tony, you have some awesome pictures… But how about being fair and balanced with the coverage.

Mauer preaches his 36 years experience, with the most recent being with Jackson County, will help him lead. (He is not a Deputy)

Sharp says he has 26 years experience, checking the small print shows only two of the years were full time.

Wow and to think its only March..

  • 22 Dutch // Mar 19, 2008 at 5:34 am

Mauer is a liar. Sharp j

It took John “Dog Cooker” Bullard until today (5-23-2008) to remove Congressman Cleaver’s name from his website. Cleaver never endorsed him, but Bullard put his name on there as a roll of the dice thinking that a Congressman would never make a stink over one fake endorsement. I think that shows that Bullard does not have the integrity to be Sheriff.
