TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! JACKSON COUNTY CRISIS AT TRUMAN GALA!!! DIVISIVE ARGUMENT TARGETING WOMEN AND MINORITY BIZ FROM PAUL WRABEC DISCOVERED!!!

The not-so-long-ago protestations of a biz dude from Eastern Jack are now making waves during election season as local Democratic Party loyalists converge today to rally and support local candidates.

The small biz complaint was unnoticed but has now become a MAJOR campaign issue among insiders.

Back in 2016, the Columbia Tribune reported this:

"The Department of Revenue awarded a contract to the company in February after a competitive bidding process, but the opening was put on hold as state purchasing officials reviewed a protest filed by a rejected bidder, Paul Wrabec Co. of Sugar Creek.

Wrabec’s company alleged the bid process was unfair because the rating system for bids was weighted in favor of women and minorities, veterans and not-for-profit companies. The process awarded 10 points for bids from women and minorities. Wrabec lost the bid by 4.94 points."

CRITICS OF JACKSON COUNTY POLITICAL CONTENDER PAUL WRABEC CHALLENGE HIS LEGITIMACY GIVEN OPPOSITION AGAINST WOMEN & MINORITY BIZ WHICH IS ANTITHETICAL TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY PLATFORM!!!

WILL JACKSON COUNTY DEMOCRATS ELECT PAUL WRABEC DESPITE HIS TROUBLING RACIAL COMMENTS???

As Jackson County Democrats come together tonight to celebrate at the annual Truman Days dinner, INSIDERS ARE BUZZING over EXPLOSIVE and RACIALLY CODED LANGUAGE  employed by Paul Wrabec, the current committee chair and candidate for elected office in the 3rd legislative district. 

In 2016, Wrabec lost a bid for a state license office (a political patronage plumb for decades) to a WOMAN/MINORITY bidder, and rather than just accept that he lost to a better bidder, he chose instead to DOUBLE DOWN ON BIGOTRY and used it as an opportunity to officially file a protest and publicly advocate AGAINST PREFERENCES FOR WOMEN OR MINORITY OWNED BUSINESSES! Needless to say, this is WAY OUT OF STEP with the vast majority of members of the Democratic Party who have seen for decades the enormous need disadvantaged communities have, and the benefits of beginning to level the playing field for everyone.

At first blush, his comments seem bizarre and straight out of the 1950's, but NOT SO FAST! The 3rd district, which he is running for, has a LONG HISTORY of electing so-called OLD-SCHOOL SOUTHERN DEMOCRATS and his public commentary serves as a form of RACIST DOG-WHISTLE that may quietly play well with many "conservative" voters in his district. Don't think for a moment his political advisors aren't aware of this uncomfortable but very real part of Democratic Party history.

HOW WILL DEMOCRATS RESPOND at the dinner tonight? WILL THEY DO ANYTHING AT ALL? OR SIMPLY CHOSE TO IGNORE SOMETHING THAT MAKES EVERYONE UNCOMFORTABLE, rather than stand up for what the party believes?
