TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! SAME OLD SONG: KANSAS CITY AMERICAN JAZZ MUSEUM CASH CRUNCH WON'T STOP UPCOMING LUXURY EUROPEAN JUNKET!!!

Kansas City taxpayers are on the hook for millions and local music lovers genuinely want to preserve a cultural legacy in crisis. Meanwhile, leaders of the financially troubled institution along with Council members are reportedly preparing to jet across the country rather than work to bring more visitors to the 18th & Vine District

Here's the word from the very best Kansas City Insiders with just a few edits by TKC . . .

"Sources say the American Jazz Museum Executive Director and our most ambitious half-pint Councilman will be jetting off to POLAND in JUNE 2018. THAT is probably why the Council dude introduced an ordinance to delay the response to the scathing AJM's report until some time in late May. Accountability for the skeptical financial analysis which proposes a temporary shut down will be after he and ole girl return from their adventures abroad. They will be attending a UNESCO event.

"Meanwhile, let's not forget that Anita Dixon via the Mutual Musicians Foundation did the most of the heavily lifting to earn Kansas City's designation as a "Music City" by this global organization.

"The upcoming junket offers an important insight as to why the in-district Councilman hasn't been vocal recently in demanding ole girl's resignation from AJM given that he was very outspoken against Gregg Carroll and his removal as AJM executive director.

"Councilman Scott Wagner also has introduced an ordinance regarding AJM's funding and his ordinance is scheduled to be held next Thursday in the Finance Committee. Reportedly, grant funding will pay for ole girl and this Councilman's junket."

  1. They're rising more than the future of the museum. This kind of betrayal of voters puts funding for the entire district in jeopardy. That's more than 100 million that could potentially go down the drain with not a lot to show for it.

  2. Wow. This is some in-depth, heavy, heavy stuff. These kick-ass insiders are always right and never get any facts or information wrong. Jesus, who the fuck cares? This is how business is done today. Donn't like it? Run for fucking office your damn self. Quit being a bunch of candy-ass babies. Grow up.

    1. Yes, Jason Parson gave his approval for the trip. Problem is with time difference Jermaine may not be able to reach Jason in real time to seek his permission to wipe his butt every morning. As fall back Jermaine should pack extra underwear.

In 2018 the two Polish UNESCO Creative Cities – Kraków and Katowice – will join forces to co-host the prestigious UNESCO Creative Cities Network Annual Meeting. 450 delegates from almost 200 cities scattered all around the world, meetings, sessions, plans and important decisions – all that awaits Poland in June 2018!

  16. Well good for you Stupid Dave, you found something totally unrelated that happens a month later. Diaper change?

Hilarious, by the way. Tony, your insiders are indeed awesome as they can't fucking read.

  17. Hey stupid dave, WTF are you talking about? This thread has nothing whatsoever to do with Poland. That was another of the many errors TKC's kick-ass insiders provide on the daily. If you can't comprehend that, stay off this site. Copy dummy?

  18. ^^^^^^^^ You are who is stupid he points out the real date and is about music and a part of what Kansas City is suppose to be a member of but why I have no idea. Tony never said it was a positive date only that sources said. It's early June it appears not in May. So you made the totally unrelated stupid comment.

  21. There are high level negotiations in the offing to try to add a Polka wing to the Jazz Museum. (Little known fact: Count Basie and Lawrence Welk were first cousins.) These things can't be done by Skype, they require a face to face meeting. So off to Krakow with our blessings! And a one, and a two....

  29. Reed is completely fucked. He never had a chance a mayor, but hoped to lobby himself into a corporate position. He’s losing any credibility now and reduced his meager chance at landing a job after this election.

    ReplyDelete
  30. 12:16 you are correct. I will say I’ve never been so disappointed in someone as I am with Jermaine. He will not survive in the corporate world with the same use you, stab you in the back way he currently operates and treats people. At some future point he will have to wake-up, go to a real 8-5 job and not jack people around all day. He will be nothing, but a washed up ex politician. Examples of as much are all over town.

  34. ^^^ Poland might be one of the cities hosting a UNESCO event but the main festival is actually being held in St. Petersburg Russia.

Which means that Trump supporters are going to be there!
