TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! UPCOMING KANSAS CITY LEGAL THREAT CONFRONTS WESTPORT STREET VACAY!!!
Quick preview of what the New Year holds . . . Even more fighting in Westport.
Here's the word . . .
THE BATTLE AGAINST WESTPORT STREET PRIVATIZATION ISN'T FINISHED AS A LEGAL FIGHT SOON CONFRONTS THE DISTRICT!!!
Just a few deets of the fight will unfold throughout 2018 . . .
- Arguments over public access and discrimination are being drafted.
- Right out of the gate, look for testing to see if security is enforcing new rules equitably.
- The street crackdown has already inspired locals to ask more questions regarding (typically lenient) Westport bar biz background checks given new quasi-government control of local streets.
Accordingly . . .
THE UPCOMING WESTPORT STREET VACATION HAS MADE THE PARTY DISTRICT AN EVEN BIGGER TARGET FOR 2018 TROUBLE!!!
Developing . . .
Same thing happened to P&L district over their security.
ReplyDeleteIt's a catch-22. You have to have tough rule to keep out the trash but those same people want to put those rules to the test.
This one isn't going to be pretty.
Turns out you can fight city hall and win.
DeleteJust ask the mayor.
Still it's worth the risk of a court fight.
DeleteBetter to debate the issue before the fact that do nothing and watch more people get hurt. Westport did the right thing to prevent more gun violence in their district.
^^^ Still unconstitutional. Sorry.
DeleteShitty council can't vote too override state law. Our gun rights are 24/7
Deletetoo bad that every decision made under the james regime ends up in court.
ReplyDeleteIf it even keeps one black person out of Westport it’s worth it
ReplyDeleteWhy not do security weapons check at the door, like in the old days? Everybody safer then, don't have to discriminate.
ReplyDeleteWe will fight street privatization but not hotel, street car or the airport fiasco’s. Man, this city has its priorities right. Sad
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you fight it ?
DeleteBlacks kill everything they touch.
ReplyDeleteThe naacp is against street privatization, I thought they told all blacks to stay out of killa missouri! Lmao!!!
ReplyDelete2:22 how is it unconstitutional?
ReplyDeleteYou are stupid 4:56
DeleteI can walk any street with my ccl. Legally they can't prevent me. This will never fly
ReplyDelete5:08 explain yourself?
ReplyDeleteGo learn the constitution 5:19
ReplyDeleteJust answer the question. Too many want to whine, "THAT'S UNCONSTITUTIONAL!" Folks that proclaim they can carry concealed are the ones that ruin it for the rest of us. Keep it concealed and quit popping off about your rights.
DeleteBTW, it is MY right to prohibit your carry in my Westport business. Do yourself a favor. Carry concealed and STFU about it. Guns & alcohol don't mix.
How about Westport sidewalks ?
DeleteIt’s not unconstitutional, the complaint is it might violate certain people’s aka those murderous blacks rights. God knows we don’t want to impede their constitutional rights of raping, robbing and murdering people
ReplyDeleteThat's not the only complaint
DeleteThe United States and the Missouri constitution

ReplyDeleteMy wife likes to role play as a judge, charge me with indecent exposure and then impose a Hard 40 minute sentence!!!
Thank god for viagra!!!
ReplyDeleteStill not unconstitutional
ReplyDeleteYes it is dipshit^^^^
ReplyDeleteWho cares? As long as the blacks are kept out of Westport, by whatever means necessary, it’s good.
ReplyDeleteIt's all about money
DeleteHAPPY KWANZA EVERYBODY!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's NOT gun violence as mentioned above. It's BLACK violence! Also, returning to one's car a block off the main drag, in Westport, is just asking to be mugged, jacked or worse.
ReplyDeletePassing an ordinance designed specifically to circumvent the State constitutional carry laws wont last ten minutes in a legitimate courtroom. The idea that tax payer property should be turned over to a pack of bar owners is insanity. If the bar owners want to piss an moan about guns then they should be putting metal detectors at the doors of their bars rather then seizing city streets to protects their right to drunk folks up.
ReplyDeleteMove the bars to 18th & Vine and let them run all night long.
