We've been talking for months about the ridership plunge that only seems to be getting worse . . .
Here are a few more fun facts from the recent ridership stats . . .
- Total passenger count: 89,660 last month, or about 2,900 a day
- Ridership Has Declined More Than 60% From July Highs
- Wait Times Have Increased And Evoked More Complaints . . .
And this one isn't official but it's still noticeable . . . If the toy train is so successful . . . Why are there so many empty storefronts along the line???
You decide . . .
Be interesting to see what Trumps approach to this obsolete form of transportation is.
ReplyDeleteNO, its NOT TRUMPS PROBLEM what a pathetic Degenerate Commie Libtard Mayor of KCMO did ,,
ReplyDeleteIt will be more interesting to see just what lies and bullshit & rhetoric the Commie Libtard MAYOR Sly James of KCMO can come up with excuses to continue to blow smoke up the naïve clueless asses of those who support this ignorant commie dipshit !!!
He lies so much its pathetic along with those he surrounds himself with, its a proven Fact !
and the things he advocates for and supports, are along the lines of a Degenerate pathetic scumbag Socialist / Communist Cockroach !!!!
Have no use for that Degenerate scumbag piece of utter Shit, O'bama actin Ass wipe !!!
The bloom on the streetcar rose nationally is long gone, with many of the cities which got hoodwinked into this farce cancelling expansion plans, curtailing hours of operation, or increasing fares to try to stanch the financial hemorrhaging.
ReplyDeleteBut the kiddie corps pushes KCMO to press on and only the intervention of the public might be able to stop the bleeding.
It's hard to pay bills with fake numbers, particularly when whatever ridership numbers you might have times zero fares never add up to much.
How's Mike's new taxpayer-subsidized hotel coming?
Anything to change the topic.
Nobody cares about your stupid streetcar fetish anymore
ReplyDeleteElon and the Donald are practicing the art of the deal to get something way better than the trolley or light rail, something cost effective but widely applicable, practical, and powered by clean energy
ReplyDeleteToot Toot goes the eleven mile an hour train. Why ride something when you can walk faster.
