The attention to so-called “black rage” during the 2014 rioting in Ferguson, Missouri, clouded what one historian says was the actual root of the unrest: more of the “white rage” that has punctuated our country’s history dating to the Civil War and emancipation.
In a discussion of her book White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Racial Divide, Emory University’s Carol Anderson chronicles what she says is powerful and recurring opposition to black progress in America. Note the surge in states imposing voter registration requirements and their disparate racial impact. A series of Supreme Court rulings has upheld racial profiling by police and made it more difficult to prove bias in jury selection, arrests, and other instances.
It’s a lack of white acceptance of full and equal rights for blacks, Anderson maintains, that fuels many of today’s race problems.

Blacks already have more rights than whites. Just look at how they hand each other jobs in local and federal government. Just look at how tax payers pay billions in handouts. I do believe that if whites have a fundamental issue it is that they are sick of having the black agenda shove down their throats. I could give a fuck what blacks do so long as they leave me and mine alone and act civil. Good luck with that. I could care lest what they want so long as they are paying for it. I could care less that they don't want to work or learn skills so long as I don't have to foot the bill for those who pander to them. In 12:46's scenario: "if this white lady had been black" - she wouldn't be a janitor. She would've qualified for an affirmative action job, bumping out more qualified non-black people, and would be making $60K (not $40K) a year. And yes, I have personally witnessed this type of affirmative action leapfrogging.
