Another sketchy death at the Jackson County jail

All of this morning, the Frank White administration is working in all-out overdrive to keep the details of another questionable death in the county jail from reaching the public and the media. Late last night a female was brought into the jail on a relatively minor violation. She was telling the staff she DESPERATELY needed medical attention was constantly ignored (this staff conduct is totally inexplicable because there is medical staff ON SITE that could have simply went and checked on her, rather than ignore her). When the administration went to check on her this morning, voila, she was dead.

This is another in a LONG line of Frank White f$#% ups at the jail in the year he's been in office: Hushed up homicide suspect escapes,multiple rapes, assaults, sketchy deaths, sheriff and fed search warrants that uncovered loads drugs of other contraband recently smuggled into the jail, CELL DOORS THAT DON"T LOCK, and on and on. Look for lazy gamey STAR, and the MSM to continue to ignore one of the biggest stories unfolding in local government: How the INCOMPETENCE of the Frank White administration is LITERALLY killing people in our community. But hey, back in '85 he sure could range to his left and get that ball............

In fairness, here's the statement from the County that contradicts testimony from insiders by way of a statement from an institution that was recently under federal investigation . . .

Jackson County sends its sincere condolences to the family for the loss of their loved one.

At approximately 10 a.m., on Jan. 19, an individual was brought to the Detention Center by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office for holding pursuant to an active arrest warrant related to an alleged probation violation. In accordance with our procedures, the individual was screened by a medical professional upon arrival to our facility. While the individual was still being held in our intake unit, and before the individual was processed into our facility as an inmate, they were again seen by medical staff. It is at this point that the individual became unresponsive. Paramedics were immediately called and lifesaving measures, including CPR and the use of an AED device, were rendered by our medical staff until paramedics arrived. In consultation with emergency medicine personnel at Truman Medical Centers, the individual was pronounced dead a short time later. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was notified and responded to our facility.

We will not be identifying the individual at this time, to allow law enforcement an opportunity to notify the individual’s family.
